back from an 11 day roadtrip in our new campervan (Drifter is her name! 🚐✨) had so much fun exploring some areas I’ve been dying to shoot in, visiting family & friends and making so many memories along the way.

Whenever I think about adventurous elopements that include family, these two immediately come to mind. Their weekend was everything a family-centered adventure should be—they rented a dreamy riverfront Airbnb so their loved ones could explore Southern Oregon and Northern California together. For their ceremony, her dad officiated (cue all the happy tears), and we wandered through the magical Redwoods before grabbing food to-go and heading to the coast for a beach hike. They ended the day with the sweetest dinner picnic, complete with cake, all while having the beach entirely to ourselves. Capturing their connection and all these heartfelt moments was such an honor—I’ll never forget it 🌊🌲💛

Olympic national park & the surrounding national forests are such a special place for me to shoot because I grew up in the area! it’s like coming home 🏔️ 🌲 have you been before? This particular spot is definitely off the beaten path. Love taking my couples to places like this that take your breath away ✨

it’s not very often that I shoot maternity anymore these days, but when your fave outdoor girly/long time Instagram friend reaches out to you for her photos, you absolutely say yes 🙌🏼 they wanted photos that felt free, wild & romantic with dramatic landscapes & we most certainly accomplished just that 😍 so thankful for this job and the people it brings into my path!!

can’t believe we’re in the final month of 2024. what an incredible year. this year took me from Oregon to Arizona, to Alaska, to Italy, to Moab, to Lake Powell, to Washington, to Joshua Tree, and so many more beautiful places with wonderful people. Hey, I’m Andie! So nice to officially meet you 👋🏼

It’s been forever since I’ve done an intro here—mostly because I keep telling myself I need fresh photos, and because this year has been a whirlwind of traveling and photographing the most incredible couples all over the world. ✈️ 🌍

A little about me: I’m an adventurous elopement and wedding photographer, which is basically the dream job I didn’t know I could have. I get to capture love stories in some of the most jaw-dropping places—think epic mountain views, desert sunsets, and landscapes that make you stop and go ~ whoa ~ ✨ 🏜️ 🏔️

I’ve been doing this for over 12 years now (wild, right?!), and I still get equally stoked every time I get to pick up my camera and jetset off into the world to meet with my couples. Whether it’s hiking through the misty forests of the PNW, saying “I do” in the Utah red rocks, or celebrating halfway across the globe, my goal is to capture every big moment and tiny in-between so your day feels just like YOU —connected, joyful, and deeply rooted in nature 🍄🪻🌞

When I’m not photographing amazing people, you can usually find me outside—hiking, skiing, kayaking, camping, you name it. Nature is my happy place and my biggest inspiration, and I bring that same adventurous, grounded energy to every shoot I do 🥾 🏕️

So, if you’re dreaming of an elopement or wedding day filled with magic, love, and maybe a little dirt on your boots, I’m your girl. Let’s go chase the wild together. 🦋

From the East Coast to Zion National Park, Cody & Grace drove across the country with their family, stopping at breathtaking national parks along the way and embracing every bit of weather nature had to offer. They said their vows alongside the river with the brides sister as their officiant. We ended the day with a hike up to a stunning overlook, capturing their love against the epic landscapes that brought them here 🏜️✨🗺️

Cas + Trace came all the way from the south to spend an epic few days exploring Moab with their family and it did not disappoint ✨

After having a quick ceremony, we hopped in their Jeep and headed to off road for this iconic Moab destination 🏜️🤌🏼

We had the best time climbing all over the desert rocks and standing on cliffsides to watch the sun go down and light up the skies ❤️‍🔥 🌅

sunrise Jeep adventure the morning of their elopement so they could share their vows privately and then make it official and celebrate later with family & friends 💛

these destination elopements (with a handful of loved ones) have quickly become a favorite of mine to photograph. what a fun idea: to road trip or fly with your closest family & friends, rent a big house together and make memories all week long exploring someplace new. pick a day to say “I do” and then come back to that destination year after year to celebrate your anniversary 🏜️

Recommending locations that allow for total privacy + epic views is kinda my thing 💁🏼‍♀️🫦

One of the reasons you may be choosing to elope is to avoid having so much attention on yourselves, or to keep your vows just between you two. The last thing you probably want is tourists watching you like you’re the entertainment of the day! I love sharing spots with my couples where I know we’ll have peace and quiet and all the privacy they desire.

The solitude & silence of the desert can be so comforting, especially with views like this. We got to soak up the incredible sunset hues after they shared their vows, toasted champagne and wandered the trails till dusk.

At the break of dawn, we found ourselves amongst the towering orange arches and red walls of the iconic Arches National Park 🏜️ It’s my favorite time of day in the park, as the sun starts to illuminate all the rock faces and lights the oranges on fire ❤️‍🔥 I only shoot in the park at sunrise so we can find some peace and quiet before the crowds of tourists haul in for the day.

S + S knew they wanted to incorporate this park into their elopement day, and originally thought of it for their ceremony. But to provide them privacy and solitude we opted for a more secluded location at sunset that evening when we met up again. (Part two coming soon)

It’s always so fun seeing everyone’s reaction to couples in wedding attire within the national parks. So many “congratulations!!” 👏🏼 And “wow! Hiking in a dress out here? Look at you go!” 👏🏼 And “how bigs the wedding? Oh, just you two? Wow, that’s the way to go! Amazing!” 👏🏼 And the occasional “can I take your photo?” 📷

What I’m All About

I want to tell your story. The big pretty stuff & the little messy stuff.

The imperfect, beautiful, unique story that makes you two, well, YOU. The little moments and the big ones. The mascara-running tears in a dark & crowded room, the silent and nervous anticipation of waiting to see your bride/groom for the first time, the double-chinned laughs when your dad mentions having kids on your wedding day, the running down the aisle with your fist in the air, the sweaty cupid shuffle on the dance floor, and the crazy excitement for life as you sprint away under sparkler lights into this new thing called marriage. Let me be there to carry your dress, to tell you where your boutonniere goes, to wipe the tears away, to help calm your nerves, and to keep you focused on what truly matters. Let me be there to capture all of those little moments, and trust me to capture the big picture moments. Whether that's on a mountain top at sunset, running on the beach through the waves, exploring the desert (sweaty & all), or hiking through the woods with mud on your dress.
