I had an absolute BLAST playing at the Bandshell for Toga-Ween last night!! Our Lifestyle Team knows how to throw a party! 🥳 Decorated golf carts and Costumes were fantastic 👏 😍 👌. Even had an on stage marriage proposal! Gonna be hard to top this party...until.the next one...😜🤣 Love you guys!! ❤️

So I think I have a pretty decent library of songs that I play from, but Im always on the hunt for more.🎶 I don't stream (for several reasons). Every once in a while someone requests a song that's not in my library, and I'm like...." Good song!...or....I remember that one!" So if there is a "banger" of a song, (which means *most people know it and you'd dance to it) and you've never heard me play it, please post below! 😁 (There's an unwritten rule in DJ'ing....90% of the people have to know 90% of what you play.) If I like your post, I have the song but noted that you like it.🙂 If I love the post ❤️, I'll add it. Thank you!

On the one hand, I'm really bummed that Mind Plays isn't able to make it today, since I absolutely LOVE them! (Not sure why, but they do travel here from the Panama City Beach area.) On the other hand, excited to be filling in at the Town Center Bandshell tonight! Let's DANCE!! 🕺💃🎶

My Harbinger speakers have served me well over the last two years.🎶 Shocked when I counted and realized I've done about 100 gigs that set. (Another 17 with my white LD Maui's.) They still sound great!! But it was time for something with a bit more umph. ..especially since I play outside so much. So my new Mackie 3 way powered DRM 315's have arrived! Yes, I listened to EV's, QSC's, and others, but we heard a DJ playing with these a month ago, outside, and they blew us away!! They are crystal clear sounding beasts!! I'll be debuting them at the Pavillion at Destination Daytona this weekend! Perfect place to crank them up and try them out! I love new gear! 😁😁😁

I had someone ask me at the pool the other day, "why do you wear headphones?" 🎧 So I realized that others might not know either. 🤷‍♀️ With one ear, I'm listening to what you all are hearing. 🎶 With the other ear, I'm listening to the track I'm about to bring in. So I'm listening to both, making adjustments so that new song is on beat, in key, and my phrasing is correct. (And yes...I can change all of those things.) That way it seamlessly transitions from one song to the next. There are all kinds of different, cool transitions, but that is really the basics of mixing. Plus, my headphones are a pretty metallic aqua. 😅
