Daniel is a lifelong music lover who fell in love with DJing and music production in his early teens. After picking up a deck, and sharpening his teeth as a resident DJ around the Chicago nightlife scene, Daniel transitioned into private events and weddings, where he got hooked on bringing good vibes to the dance floor. Daniel prides himself on his ability to read the crowd, and always has a trick up his sleeve to keep the dance floor packed.

Melissa is the tour de force writer/director spearheading the methodology behind Fig Media's filmmaking practices for over 15 years. Melissa studied with leading documentarians at Kartemquin and Criterion Collection at the University of Illinois at Chicago graduating with honors and a BFA in Film, English, and Art History. Her evocative films have raised over 9+ million for Non-Profits and aided in passing legislation benefitting underserved communities while garnering over Ten Telly Awards. The films she's led with the fig team were recently featured in the International Social Change Film Festival. For Melissa, hiking in a new location with a fresh sketchbook, camera, hubby and her dog is bliss.

One of the easiest 5-star reviews there is to give! My husband and I are so happy we went with Fig Media to DJ our wedding. They paired us with Marcus, and from our first call with him, we knew he was going to absolutely nail the vibe we were going for. He really listened to our preferences, but he also did an exceptional job reading the room the night of and making any necessary adjustments. For example, he noticed all of the allusions in the toasts to our university, so at one point, he played our school's fight song, which was a huge hit among the alumni! We thought that was so fun and thoughtful. He was also so supportive and excited when we asked if he could stay a few minutes after the end of the event so that my husband and I could enjoy a private last dance. Marcus was hands down the best DJ we could have asked for, and working with Fig was such a breeze. We highly recommend them! - Rachel Stanford

Working with the FigMedia team was an incredible and seamless experience. Brent was amazing in understanding the vibe that we were for during the wedding and matching us up with the team member he thought would be best. Which brings me to Daniel who DJ'ed our wedding. He was outstanding! Absolutely knocked it out of the park! I don't think there was a minute all night without a packed dance floor. We are still getting compliments from folks about how great the music was. I can't recommend the FigMedia team enough if you are in the market for a DJ for your wedding or any other event! - Alyissa and Nick

Brian has been photographing and filming weddings, events, food, interiors, and portraits with Fig Media since 2006. He has a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Master's in visual media at "Fig University". Brian has been at the forefront of many new, fun, and creative photo endeavors with fig, and has helped form the fig photo documentary/editorial style of corporate photography. He has been great with calibrating with the photo and film team on an assortment of client'’ visual media projects. Brian has successfully delivered 700+ events for clients, couples, and families. This includes thousands of personal connections with guests via his camera and a smile. He currently lives with his Wife and Daughter in Oak Park, IL. He’s recently discovered the nostalgic joy of long cross-country road trips, with a good mix of the 80s, 90s, and Indie Rock as the soundtrack. Includes a tasty craft coffee.
