Hello, new branding!

I started Assistance Overnight just over 2 years ago and at the time I was obsessed and connected with the bright cheery pinks I used in my branding but it hasn't been connecting as much lately so I've spent the start of this year figuring out how to connect with my branding and fall in love with my business again!

The more muted pinks feel more comforting, and the simplified logo feels closer to my true authentic self. I love this new branding, and I hope you do too!

Less than a month to Christmas!!

This year we have focused on shopping small and I can say at least 50% of our presents this year have been found through going markets and finding businesses on the gram (we've found shopping small for kids really hard this year so any recommendations for next year would be great!)

I've also been enjoying wrapping presents to look cute in more sustainable ways. We're using recyclable brown paper with some fabric from my stash finished off with a cute ornament and a tag I made myself

Hello from your friendly not-so Virtual Assistant 👋

A really fun thing I've been doing with one of my clients is attending markets on their behalf. It's so much fun for me to spread awareness for her company and help to increase sales through opportunities she may not be able to have on her own
canines is based in Wellington, so it's a bit hard to attend some of the popular events in Auckland, so instead, I've started to attend them. I genuinely love her products, and meeting her customers has brought me so much joy!

A common problem I hear from small businesses is the inability to switch off at the end of the night

That's where I got the idea for Assistance Overnight. I can help look after your business while you spend the evening with your kids or take a holiday where you just want to turn off your phone and relax but know that you will come back to everything organized and ready for you to tackle the important things

As strange as it sounds, I absolutely love going through emails, organizing requests, and setting up to do lists so that when people sit down to work, they don't need to stress about where to start

I always get questions from people asking if working a full-time job while getting Assistance Overnight up and running

It is a little hard, but almost all of the time, when I am doing VA work, I'm having so much fun I don't even notice the effort. My vision one day is to take AO full time and be able to commit myself fully to it
