48 to Screen > Workshop Wednesday > and the transition to dinner and a movie... yup, our already unique movie experiences will now include dinner catered by different Newberry establishments.
We are also taking the show on the road!! August 23rd we will be showing a movie in Whitmire at Good Ground. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!!

Were you wanting to be a part the the first 48 to Screen but couldn't make the meeting? We understand !! For this month only we are extending the entry period past the launch meeting. 😃
Get your group > head to the website > pay for entry > and use the following parameters to create your film....
☆ It has to be 5-10 minutes in length.
☆ Genre - Drama (may use subgenre)
☆ Featured items - Keys, hat, coin(s)
☆ Required line - "Why so serious?"
☆ Submit film to [email protected] by 10a Monday morning, July 29th!!

We have decided to extend our screening of 'Diamond', a wonderful show about a 1970's rock legend who is battling alcoholism. Staring Ginger Cressman Actress/Model, and directed by Steve Moon.
Friday at 7pm, Sunday at 3pm. Tickets only $10...
What's on my mind? Well today it has been the new fun and interactive program that MTD Arthouse Theatre will start on Friday, July 26th.
48 to Screen, a two day film challenge for people of all ages.

Spent a wonderful weekend on a whirlwind tour of 3 independent movie theaters in NC: Blue Ridge Movie Lounge, the Parkway (both in West Jefferson) and the Independent Picture House in Charlotte.
Oh... and we made a quick 3.5 hour stop in Ikea to check out some new seating...
Excited to have a more focused direction.
