Now that you are engaged and in the planning stages of your wedding, there are so many choices and options for your wedding and it can be overwhelming! Here are some highlights and advantages that make us unique as a wedding venue.

-Our venue is specifically designed for small intimate weddings up to 45.
-You will not feel like the space is too large.
-This is a historic property dating back 250 years with mature trees, beautiful backdrops, woods, rock walls and a manor house.
-I am a wedding planner and whether you rent the venue or choose an all inclusive wedding, I am always here to help and guide you.
-We do not charge you extra for rentals, with all of our weddings we provide; tables, chairs, decor, ceremony site benches, arches, sound system, day of coordination, hair and makeup studio, bar, changing suites, signs, firepits, rugs, lounge furniture, lawn games and overseeing of your entire wedding.
-We are walking distance to the Potomac River, Appalachian Trail and C and O Canal. Most of our couples take photos at the river during cocktail hour.
-Our location is only a few miles from Harpers Ferry that offers; hiking, river activities, restaurants, breweries, wineries, zip lining and many overnight options.
-We have an incredible preferred vendor list.
-We offer all inclusive weddings and all you do is show up, we do everything else.

Engagement season is upon us!
For those of you who don’t know, the engagement season is from the end of November until after Valentine's day.
This is typically when the highest number of couples get engaged.
If you are one of the happy couples that are engaged or getting engaged here are a few things to consider when thinking about your upcoming wedding.

-If you are planning your wedding within 10-12 months you need to book your venue asap. Once you have your venue booked, you need to book your photographer, they are all very busy and they book up fast!
-Hire a wedding planner to help with details, choosing vendors and contracts. I have seen many weddings where there was no planner and it never goes smoothly. On your wedding day you want everyone to relax and enjoy.
-Stay within your budget. Have a budget that is realistic with updated pricing and choose vendors within your budget.
-Use Pinterest as an idea board and move on. I have seen many brides constantly changing their minds and getting stuck on decisions because they are seeing things on Pinterest.
-Be kind, considerate, but firm when dealing with others' ideas and thoughts that don’t align with yours on your wedding,it's your wedding.
-Enjoy this time in your life, don’t overstress yourselves, set realistic expectations for yourself and everyone around you. Photography
