👉 DEEP DJ THOUGHTS (yes, we have them) 👈

Been working more on my P&P festival set today & I been reflecting on my Bumpadump project as a whole. Bumpadump sets at their core are about inspiring self confidence, taking up space & encouraging self love & acceptance to all, but are especially geared towards the girls, g**s & theys. I want you to channel your inner rage & dance it out while connecting with others in the same boat & those who are our allies 🤝🎶

The entire aesthetic for music & imagery I've curated for Bumpadump is based in 90s & y2k rave history that so many of us grew up in. During that time period a lot of us weren't fully out of the closet, transitioned, comfortable expressing our true natures publicly or were in places in life that didn't allow us to participate in the magic of the rave culture during the 90s/y2k. A large part of the reason I've adopted my specific aesthetic is to give my audience a 2nd chance to experience an echo of that place in time again as who they are now & to encourage others finding their way - letting all know that my dj sets will always be a safe place to be yourself to the truest extent of your being 🙏

I think my fellow djs will relate, but y'all don't really get how much garbage music I have to dig through for literal hoursss to find the kind of trash I treasure to play for you on the dance floor 😪🤣 I love a good challenge & have fun searching, but when it comes down to it I play pretty niche sounds that create the whole that Bumpadump is & it takes serious patience to curate this project. All that work makes it so much more rewarding when I find the specific sounds I'm craving & I get to see how much fun y'all are having being immersed & in full self confidence just losing your absolute s**t on the dance floor with the vibe I work so hard to curate 🥰😭🥳

I'll never tire of saying this & I hope you never tire of hearing it, but I'm genuinely honored to be given the all the opportunities that I am & will always work my hardest to prove that to my community. I couldn't do this without y'alls fr fr 🫡💕
