Get ready for our first Sub Zero of 2025 on Thursday January 2nd! In just a couple more weeks we’ll hear drop his new EP and debut it live for our very first show of the new year 🍾🪩

On top of that, our team will be unveiling a long-awaited rebrand and will be changing our name on all our socials. After the year’s end, you can find us online as just “The Bass District” 🔊🎛️

Not to mention added visuals by 👀Catch us performing our favorite tunes every first Thursday of the month 🤙

CALLING ALL EXPERIMENTAL BASS MUSIC PRODUCERS 🚨🚨🚨

As we gear up for the 2025 show season, we want to remind all the talented up and coming artists out there that our submission line is always open!

We are constantly looking for new and emerging talent to book for our monthly series, Sub Zero, and closely monitor the performances to keep in mind for when we host larger productions. 🪩

If you’ve played for us before and it’s been awhile since we’ve heard your tunes, resubmit and show us your new tracks! We prioritize artists with original music over those that just submit DJ mixes. 💿🎧

Huge thank you to the 41 different bass music producers and DJ’s that played for us this year in 2024! As we take December off for the Holidays, we would like to reflect back on all the good memories created this year as well as announce what we have planned for 2025. 🥳🎉

Coming Thursday January 2nd, Sub Zero will return with new branding, visuals and an upgraded lighting design. 🔅🎧🔊

In addition, the San Diego Unified Bass District will officially be rebranding to The Bass District, or “TBD” for short. Coming January we will launch our new website, and begin our mission to bring better lighting and audio-visual production to special events of all kinds across San Diego. 🏝️

Sub Zero is back Thursday June 6th 📢

We’ll be ending the spring season on a sweet note with one last bass music lineup to rule them all. We are not having any shows on the 4th of July, so let’s make this one count 🎧📻🎉

We’re bringing a wide variety bass music acts to your favorite chilled-out bar in North Park, and there’s a little something for everyone 🥰🤗

Make sure to get there early because we’re still doing no cover before 10pm! Sub zero will continue its regular Thursday night schedule in June as well 🤜🤛

We were beyond thrilled to see how many new and familiar faces came out and supported our first Sub Zero show of 2024.
