Happy 2 Year Anniversary to J. Events & Planning, Co.

Year 2 was definitely a lot different for me than year 1. We’re still here, still grateful and still growing!

Another successful year that included my biggest guest list, an installation at an showcase event, an interview with WURD radio and so much love for you all. Thank you to my team that’s always present and willing to assist when I need them. I’m forever indebted to you 💜✨

I took a little social media break but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t working. I’ve been blessed with continuous opportunities, mentorship and growth. I’ve been slacking with the content but more will be coming so you can see the magic we’ve been creating!

We’re a little late posting but we’ve been busy preparing for 2 events this month & travel! Now that spring is here, we hope that the seeds you’ve planted are being watered and will soon bloom into something beautiful!

In March we did accomplish getting more rest and registered for a certification class!

We hope the July was as good to you as it was so us! We’re a little behind in what we did this past month and can’t wait to share!

We did accomplish our July goal of sharing some of our favorite black owned businesses! We’re not done yet so we’ll continue posting more this month.

For August, our goal is to work on upcoming events earlier and close the computer at an earlier time each day. I’m usually up past midnight and still working on upcoming events knowing I have work in the morning. What will you work on this month?

We also want to wish everyone a Happy Juneteenth! On June 19, 1865, slaves in Galveston, Texas were informed of their freedom, 2 years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation!
