New venue this year,lovely day had by all!

Back by popular demand, it’s time to launch The Flower Shed’s wreath making classes. Everything you need to make a luxurious natural wreath for your door, plus plenty of mulled wine, mince pies, coffee and cake. I’m am hoping to run four classes this year, 3 for wreath making and depending on popularity a Christmas foam free table centres class. Dates as follows:
Saturday 4th December 10am - 1pm wreath making
Sunday 5th December 2pm - 5pm wreath making
Sunday 12th December 10am - 1pm wreath making and 2pm - 5pm Christmas table centres.

All classes provide absolutely everything you need at a cost of just £35 each.

Places are limited to just 6 per class so book early to avoid disappointment. 🎄🎄. Just comment, send a message or email [email protected]

It’s been a difficult and different year for everyone but The Flower Shed still managed to host 4 very small and safe wreath making classes and one huge zoom class for 19! Very different from last year but some beautiful wreaths were made and it was lovely to have a tiny bit of normality! Thank you to all those taking part and a massive special thanks to Fairlie Turnbull for greenery and Ken Wallis for gathering, collecting, sweeping and keeping everything going 😘

In these difficult times for everyone I haven’t managed to run any flower workshops this year, but I’ve been asked about running the wreath making classes again and I would love to do this to start Christmas off with some sort of normality 🤞. I’m going to run two Saturday afternoon classes on Saturday the 5th and Saturday 12th December 2-4pm (or however long it takes 😊) for up to 5 people. Obviously this depends on us coming out of lockdown and back to tier 1 with a 6 person limit as before. If this isn’t possible then we can do the classes by zoom and I can sort kits out with everything you need. Cost will be the same as last year £30 including everything you need to make a fabulous luxury natural wreath including lights and mulled wine and cake!
It’s going to be first come first served - either send me a message or email me on [email protected] If there is a need then we can do some evening ones as well. Please feel free to share and spread the word.

2nd of this weekends Christmas Workshops. Another lovely bunch of students who all worked really hard and made some really beautiful and very professional looking arrangements 😍. Love doing these afternoons. The Flower Shed smelt lovely, mulled wine, mince pies, pine and eucalyptus 💕. Looking forward to the final one tomorrow.

I’ve done the hat trick of wreath making today! Another lovely set of ladies making some absolutely beautiful wreaths in the Flower Shed this afternoon. It’s definitely starting to feel like Christmas here 🎄. Thanks to Fairlie Turnbull for letting us raid the garden and the biggest thanks to Ken Wallis for greenery collection, clearing up and generally being a superstar! One final session next Friday then a couple of weeks off before the Christmas Table Centre weekend.

Two fantastic wreath making classes this weekend. One at GSC Grays on Friday evening and another at Croft Textiles group today. What a talented bunch! They made some stunning wreaths, going to be some beautifully dressed doors this Christmas. Final session this weekend takes place in The Flower Shed tomorrow. Final workshop is on Friday evening and we still have a couple of free spaces if any one fancies having a go.

Wreath making - only 3 spaces left on Friday 6th December - 6-9pm - includes everything you need to make a beautiful natural door wreath with lights, mulled wine, cake and coffee! All for £30.
Christmas Table Centres - includes all materials, candles, dishes etc with mulled wine, cake and coffee for just £30. 4 spaces on Friday 20th December 6-9pm and 3 spaces on Sunday 22nd December 1-4pm.
