Sometimes the hardest part is just getting out of bed.
This morning was Savage Race and when the alarm went off, it was cold, dark, and my motivation was NOWHERE to be found. I didn’t really want to go. But I’d committed. I signed up last year, and that commitment mattered. I’ve learned that sometimes, signing up early is a promise to your future self because motivation comes and goes, but commitment stays. And once I got going, I was reminded exactly why I love the running and walking community.

It also made me think about all of you who register early for our Relevant Running events, sometimes months, even a year or more in advance. That kind of faith and commitment means so much to me personally. You’re the foundation that allows me to plan, create, and bring these events to life. You believe in what we’re building long before race day ever arrives and that inspires me every single time.

And to everyone who joins us along the way, whether you sign up the week before, the night before, or even race day morning sometimes, you’re just as much a part of what makes our community special. EVERY registration represents someone choosing to get up, get moving, and be part of something positive.

So thank you, to the early birds, the planners, the last minute deciders, and everyone who keeps showing up. You’re the reason Relevant Running exists. ❤️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🔥
