HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?

Yeti's Authentic Kitchen emerged as a brand under Events Meets World during the global pandemic when the demand for mobile catering surged due to lockdown restrictions. With supermarket access limited, we identified a significant opportunity to fill a gap in the market.

I’ve always regarded my mum as a remarkable cook, and her culinary creations frequently drew requests from friends and family to cater for events and special occasions. However, she never pursued it seriously. Recognizing the potential and the market need for high-quality Nigerian catering paired with excellent customer service, we decided to incorporate catering into our event equipment rental offerings, aiming to create a one-stop solution for all event needs.

To attract our initial clientele, we initiated a campaign providing complimentary meals to frontline workers during the COVID-19 crisis, including NHS staff and medical professionals. This outreach was highly successful, and we also offered free samples to individuals interested in experiencing our cuisine to build interest over several months.

As time progressed, we witnessed a consistent influx of catering requests, with many clients returning weekly, along with bookings for special occasions like birthdays and holiday celebrations. The growing demand prompted us to differentiate Yeti's Kitchen from Events Meets World, establishing it as an independent brand.

Now, we're thrilled to launch the Yeti’s Kitchen Food Truck, making access to our Authentic Nigerian dishes even more convenient. We take immense pride in our journey thus far and eagerly anticipate the future.

Despite the rain pouring down, Yeti's Kitchen Food Truck launch weekend was an incredible success, and we’re so thankful for your amazing support!

On Saturday, we handed out 50 samples and completely SOLD OUT on our very first day, serving 70 meals! 🇳🇬🍲🚚 Seeing so many of you come out, try our food, and share your love means everything to us.
