Meet the final artist of ANNEX the man behind Annex & Music Tools Recordings Kevin Call

Passion and dedication is what made Kevin Call one of the most talented DJ/Producer in Malta starting djing since 1994 and he never looked back.... With many years of experience Kevin has made a name for himself as one of the most important and influential DJ/Producer/Label Owner in Malta. 2004 saw the start of Kevin`s first label project together with 2 other fellow artists, Urban State Records which is also the very first real record label regarding electronic music in Malta,after closing down Urban State Records he gave birth to his baby Night Mode Malta but had to shut it down after some years now running his new label Music Tools Recordings.

Despite his newcomer status, OBLX's extensive clubbing experience ensures he tunes into the crowd's vibe, curating unforgettable experiences.

From warming up for international heavyweights like LINDSEY HERBERT, NOT A HEADLINER, PUSHMANN, SEMREH, ALBERTO TOLO, UMEK and NUSHA to his breakthrough international gigs in Macedonia, OBLX's dedication and drive continue to propel him forward in the techno scene.

MEET THE ARTISTS OF ANNEX
Joshua Calleja, a DJ/Producer from the beautiful island of Malta, who is enriching the techno scene with a unique style of production and a never heard way of playing Dj sets.He was born in august 1999 and since Malta is famous for its flourishing nightlife Joshua got to know electronic music at a very young age. His first gig in a club was at the age of 14 and in the same year Joshua was even celebrating his first release. That was the moment when this youngster realised that he wants to dedicate his life to the world of electronic music.

Since then the upwards spiral of this musical prodigy hasn’t seen an end.His productions captivate with a Hypnotic, Groovy and Atmospheric sound combined with influences from Techno sub genres. Because of a unique mixture of minimalism and club techno from its finest,he never had any problems to release his music on significant music labels. To name some of the labels which published his tracks: Voltage Records, Tentacles Recordings, Northern Parallels, Stick Recordings, Dolma Rec, Diffused Reality and moreAt the age of 16, Joshua's music was already going around the world.

That's the reason why his first international gig was just a matter of time. In 2015 he played in Austria at the great venue Club Fly for a befriended label which set up a label showcase event. . His tracks are supported by acts like Dustin Zahn, Fabio Florido, Lindsey Herbert, Freddy K and many more.The future is as bright as it can be for Joshua, so there is no doubt that his way to become an international music artist and producer is already placed.

Gabriel derives considerable inspiration from resident DJs at Indigo/Wax, including Muski, Gordan Flash, and Patient, who consistently deliver an electrifying techno experience.

Furthermore, Gabriel was particularly motivated to explore music production after being inspired by the progressive artist 'Human Safari', whose performances he eagerly anticipates at events.

Gabriel's musical journey is propelled by his profound passion and love for both the music itself and the community, alongside his unwavering persistence and daily dedication to refining and enhancing his skills. He stays current of the latest music trends by closely following both local and international DJs and producers.
