Feeling sad and a little bit sentimental that The Blue Leaf Filipinas in Paranaque had to finally close their doors today.

I had only hosted there once but I had a great time hosting in that event place.

Had a FUN-tastic evening yesterday hosting April and Christian’s wedding reception! Their wedding was supposed to be last year but because of the pandemic, they had to postpone their wedding date. But nevertheless, the right timing came and their wedding was held this March. Add to the fact that all of their friends and family were energetic as well! 😊 Congratulations and best wishes Aprilyn Duque Herrera & Christian Maglay and continue to live life with love and laughter! ❤️😊

Hosted LA and Cris’ wedding reception exactly a year ago during the taal volcano eruption!

Love can definitely withstand anything, even natural disasters. Despite the strong ash fall, I thank God that everyone is still safe, and that Cris and LA’s love for one another and for the people around them is still strong. This wedding is definitely one for the books and I thank God also for my co-suppliers for still pulling it off to make the wedding special for Cris and LA.

2020 is an unforgettable year in hosting weddings.

From hosting a wedding during the Taal volcano eruption and then facing the quarantine lockdown with no events and entering the new normal for intimate weddings, this year is one for the books for the lessons learned.

But as they say, no other force can stop true love. And I am truly grateful for witnessing love being shared even during the tough times.

A special shoutout and big thanks also to the wedding coordinators that I’ve worked with this 2020, especially to Stat Events And Trends and to Reserve Moments - We Cater To Your Needs and to all wedding suppliers.😊 Praying for a better 2021 and for more weddings filled with genuine love! ❤️

Sharing the key messages from Fr. David Tampus Concepcion's homily during the Christmas mass today at the Sta Maria Goretti - FB Live streaming:

- Whatever God takes away from you, He replaces it with something better.

- What really matters most is not what our hands can hold, but what our hearts can keep.

- Ask yourself, "What have I done with the many prayers that God answered in my life?"

Simple messages that made me reflect a little bit more today in the time of the pandemic.

Christmas might be totally different this year because of the pandemic, but God's great love for us still remains no matter what happens.

Happy birthday, Jesus! ❤️ Thank You for Your great love and for all the many blessings that You have given us.
