It's wonderful how strong we Ukrainians are 🇺🇦 We open new businesses and keep working, while it's war here.
Here's a little moment from the opening of the GUSTOSO restaurant, designed by my friends loft buro in Kyiv. That was my very first set since the beginning of the war.
🇺🇦 PARTY IN UKRAINE, WHILE IT'S WAR? I'll tell you how it feels and why we do it!
I live in Kyiv. I was born here. And I still live here now every day from the beginning of ruzzian invasion on February 24th.
We lived trough many hard moments and keep doing it. Kyiv region was freed from ruzzians few months ago. But still there's a hard war going on the east and south, every day you have a chance to wake up from a missile flying above your house in any part of Ukraine.
1️⃣ Many musicians fight for us on the frontline. I really want all of them not to fight, but create and play together under the peaceful sky. That's why the aim of our party on July 6th at Squat 17b was to collect money for my friend's Musicians Defend Ukraine Foundation, who help musicians on the frontline.
✔️ We raised 12 242 UAH (around 410 euro) and I'm happy and deeply grateful to everyone, who donated! If you want to take part, here's the PayPal account destination:

2️⃣ Second very important reason of our gathering: the joy of meeting friends, people, dance and ability to 'forget' for a moment.
I played the most deep music of what I've collected recently. On some point I felt such strong connection with the dance floor, that it felt like good old times for a second 😭
It's very important to SUPPORT each other and to enjoy every moment of our life, even at WAR. LIVE, DANCE, LOVE, while you can! This is what for my friends are fighting hard now! Thank you, our guardians. Thank you, my people!!!
