Sacred Space Design is one of our favorite spaces in the home to design. If space permits, we highly encourage our client’s to dedicate a room or even a closet for prayer/meditation. Having a dedicated space reduces distractions and allows you to keep all your prayers, goals, and affirmations in one place. We are huge advocates for putting pen to paper and visualization when it comes to enhancing our spiritual journey.

For , our client asked for an infrared sauna and a space for her sound bowls. We will build a frame around the sauna to give the illusion of a built-in look and instead of purchasing shelving, we decided to build out wall alcoves for an ultra custom feel.
The center alcove will incorporate an upholstered push pin board for vision boarding, prayers, photos and affirmations.

The floor pillows will be custom made with memory foam and detachable back pillows for good posture during meditation. They are modular as well, and can be rearranged for a small sectional configuration.

And last but not least, we incorporated a huge backlit mirror for exercise, yoga, or mirror gazing meditation. The mirror will also give the illusion of a larger space and create openness along with the natural light of the floor to ceiling windows.

A sacred space should be unique to you and your journey. Only incorporate elements that make you feel ultimate peace and in tune with your source.
