The momentum and energy derived from the vast number of reggae & dancehall fans is amazing shown by the thousands of votes received so far. Since taking an obligation of determination to fill in the gap of awarding industry players, the ZRDMA organisers have been working flat out to try bring the best quality awards for 2023 - 2024.
However the cost of executing this obligation has been overwhelming, the lack of financial support and material support is pulling the idea down. Companies and cooperates have been approached to no avail. We have been left owing service providers, creative designers etc cetera. As we had planned to hold the awards ceremony in October 2024, due to the above reasons, the ORGANISING TEAM has decided to move the ceremony to a later date in November 2024. After thoughtful consideration, this is the best way forward so that we can continue to gather enough resources to make it work.
