NOLA Boom Bayou Classic Tournament
Thank you everyone for your support and help making this tournament happen. As you all know, Wednesday, Sean had a massive heart attack. After the procedure was done on Wednesday, he looked over at me and said ‘the tournament Saturday still has to happen’. He didn’t want to let anyone down. That’s just who he is.
I got in touch with Tim Bresnan and Mike Fontenot, and they helped me put it together to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you guys very much!
The tournament started on time at 12:00, and we were finished in 3 hours. There were no injuries thanks to the amazing ref crew: Tim Bresnan, Mike Fontenot, Clint Breland, Kyle Hebert, and Grant Bundy.
Thank you to HoHo for helping load the truck, for driving so I could study on the way there and back, and for helping set & pack up. Also, thanks to the others who helped set & pack up and any other name I may have forgotten.
Again, thank you to everyone who showed up and for all the prayers for Sean. The arm wrestling community really is a family, and I appreciate each and every one of y’all.
