Shocked and Honored to say I was selected as a 2025 Woman to Watch in Cecil County and I could just cry 🥹

Never in my wildest dreams did I think The Bridal Bestie would take off the way it has. My little dream has given back to me already in so many ways and I could never express how grateful I am.

This is such a small thing to so many people but it really does mean so much to me.

Join us on May 4th at a Bridal Expo like no other!

We cant wait to be back at Bohemia Overlook Wedding Venue to meet all of you amazing couples 🥰

Here’s what’s in store:
✨ A bridal fashion show at 2 PM
✨ Food trucks, wine, and beer
✨ A Bachelor Pad for grooms to relax and enjoy (there will be a cornhold tournament, and golf driving range off of the Manor bluff)

March 31st will be your last day to book wedding planning and coordination services at our current pricing/packaging!

We are making some exciting changes to the pricing, packages, and services we offer beginning April 1, 2025.

Our Current Rates are:

🤍 Basic Month of Coordination: $1400
🤍 Partial Planning: $2000
🤍 Full Planning: $2800

Hey Besties ✨

It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face or introduced myself, and we have such lovely new photos from , so here’s a bit about The Bridal Bestie 🩵

My name is Alliyah Thorpe and I am both a full time insurance sales agent and wedding planner. In addition to being a wife and a mom. You could say I have impeccable time management skills 😂 When I do have free time, which is almost never, I love to travel and do theatre! But most importantly, My little family is the center of my universe and my entire heart.

I started this business officially on January 1, 2022 after a long period of just doing it for fun on the side for family/friends. It was my life long dream to be a wedding planner. It still is. I never get tired of it. I love seeing everyone’s unique wedding day visions come to life. It brings me so much joy.

What I think sets my business apart, is that I treat every single wedding like it’s my own and really try to play matchmaker in terms of the vendors we partner with for each couple. I truly believe that all vendors and couples should mesh well, have similar vibes, so that one cohesive vision can be executed. Right down to our own staff even - there may be a coordinator on my staff that I think just vibes really well with a specific couple’s personality. I believe that this is the best way to get the absolute best wedding day.

I also believe in taking customer service to unreasonable heights. We will always have a back up plan, always go above and beyond, and always make decisions with the the couple in mind.

I love meeting and getting to know each and every one of you, and I hope this helps you get to know a little bit more about me 🤍

You want someone reliable.

After all, you don’t get to do your wedding day over again.

We take every precaution and plan for every emergency so that, no matter what, your wedding day is smooth sailing.

I’ve had car accidents on my way to a wedding and I still showed up. I have broken out in full body hives during a wedding and had to go to the ER, and still came back and finished out the wedding. But better than that? I have a trained amazing staff who’s ready to step in at a moment’s notice in the event of an emergency.

This is why it matters who you choose to coordinate or plan your wedding. This is why it’s important to consider more than just how cheap the price is for a vendor. Is someone you paid $500 to coordinate your wedding showing up in an emergency? Do they have a back up plan if something happens to them? The answer is most likely not.

This philosophy applies to ALL of your wedding vendors. Budget is important, but so is reliability.

We take pride in not only providing excellent service, but recommending vendors to our clients who also only provide reliable, excellent service.
