It is dawn in this day of 27th May, St Melangell’s Feast, and I have lit a fire to honour the memory of a little known woman ... her name was Melangell. She lived in the 7th century in the Berwyn mountains of Wales and her journey in life was to protect all wild creatures and offer sanctuary. She is the patron saint of Hares. I will be remembering her throughout the day as I walk, read, draw, sit, and as the world wakes up I listen by my fire to the birdsong singing to the dawn rising and at end of day the birds farewell song in this cycle of a day....

My first live Storytelling from my Honeybeehut with a tale from Fife - ‘Kitty Illpretts’ .... join me next weds at 5.30pm for a lovely story called’ Bear Song’ gifted to me by Storyteller Judy Paterson. I’ll be live recording but will save if you miss it .... keep listening and tuning into where you’ll find a list of wonderful tellers and their tales ....

So tomorrow is and as us Storytellers can’t actually go out there and share stories face to face we
have come up with an alternative ... live FaceTime Storytelling! Take a look at and from 4-10.30pm tomorrow we will be on the hour and half hour sharing magical tales to delight one and all... and if it works then hey ... we’ll do it again because we want to make everyday world storytelling day!
My slots at 7.30pm for a bedtime tale called Kitty Illpretts and some lullabies .... come join me in my honeybeehut for a story xx
