The Chiltern Centre is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Henley’s very own chocolate shop Gorvett & Stone that promises to bring joy to chocolate enthusiasts of all ages.
We are offering a unique opportunity to become a chocolate taster and help them create a new delectable treat!
From today, both children and adults have the chance to step into the delightful world of chocolate tasting. As part of this fun-filled initiative, successful participants will get to sample a range of chocolates crafted by Gorvett & Stone and share their thoughts on each flavour. But the adventure doesn’t stop there – the most imaginative and enthusiastic panellist will have their name on the chocolate which will be sold in store!
How to Enter:
1. Fill Out the Form: Visit https://buytickets.at/thechilterncentre/1242707 and complete the entry form with your details.
2. Get Creative: Write an exciting paragraph on why you would make a fantastic chocolate taster and chocolatier. Tell us what you love about chocolate, what flavours you dream of creating, or any fun chocolatey experience that makes you stand out!
The chocolate with the most votes from the 5 lucky panellists will be produced for sale in the shop with a percentage of each sale going directly to the Chiltern Centre. The panellist to respond with the most choco-tastic feedback will have their name attributed to the chocolate itself. Get those taste buds and pencils ready! 🌟 🍫 🌟

Did you know that Stephanie has a café in Watlington? And it is here that all of her beautiful food is created for Stephanie Emma Catering.

As it's pie week we wanted to give a shout out to Pielicious Ltd who bake all of the gorgeous pies stocked and enjoyed at The Industry Café.

Join us this April on 'The New Orleans' for an evening of side-splitting laughter. Hobbs of Henley is proud to present a comedy fundraiser to benefit the Riverside Counselling Service, an essential local service offering accessible counselling for all.

In collaboration with Jericho Comedy, an acclaimed comedy group from Oxford, we invite you to a night where every chuckle and guffaw helps a vital cause.

100% of the evening's proceeds will go directly to supporting Riverside Counselling Service.

Gather your friends for a hilarious night out with doors and bar opening at 6pm.

This event is for adults only, please.

Have you ever wondered about the faces behind Stephanie Emma Catering?

Well here they are, albeit hiding as usual!

From left to right Pat, Cheryl and Stephanie.

Pat is a fully qualified fabulous chef and also mother to these two ladies, which I think makes her ultimately responsible for pretty much everything 😜

Cheryl is often found keeping Steph’s cogs turning in the background, in the office but also out on site. She also manages events, organised marquees, flowers, entertainment, and so much more.

Stephanie, is simply the talent behind every morsel of delicious food the leaves her kitchen. Cooked and presented to perfection.

We just wanted to give a shout out to our Cornish cheesy friends The Cornish Cheese Company
They became great friends with Stephanie when she was living in Cornwall and are in fact a family business.
If you choose cheese for your party there’s a very high chance that this is where it came from 🧀

How do you like your Camembert?

We’ve been trying out a few winter recipes ready for the cold nights but you just can’t beat one of our baked Cornish Camembert’s with a glaze of honey and sprinkle of thyme springs 😍

Quick and easy only taking 10 minutes in the oven. Make sure to give us a tag or message if you give it a go 🧀

- Ladies Royal Regatta 🚣‍♀️

1 Kitchen. 2 Chefs. 3 Days and our amazing dedicated team of staff.
Just shy of 910 mouths fed from breakfast buttys volunteers lunch box’s, afternoon tea, chairman’s breakfast, Sundays BBQ and a two course meal daily.
This year we also took over the bar which was a big hit.

What a busy but fun weekend we had 🥱
First stop is a coffee and a little breakfast ☕️

Second stop is over to open up at industry Cafe where we will make a start preparing for this weeks jobs, make a start on the first batch of scrummy cakes for Hambleden village stores while also making sure our customers at the cafe are all fed and happy 😊

We have been a little overwhelmed at the response to Stephanie’s return to Henley. We knew she’d be remembered from days of old but my word you’ve all been keeping her busy 🤣

From breakfasts to fingers buffets, 3 course lunches and afternoon teas, we’ve been non stop.

Thank you to everyone, the clients, the venues, the staff, and the family for making it happen ❤️

Some of you may remember a local event catering company from about 20 years ago called Entertaining Matters. Based in Wallingford one of the brains behind the success of the company was Stephanie Trendall.

Stephanie made the life changing decision to move to Cornwall to raise her two daughters and now that everyone is grown in both age and culinary experience Stephanie is back locally doing what she does best - Exceptional home style food, anytime, anywhere!

So in a throwback kind of fashion here she is from all those years ago with the EM team, and now with her wonderful daughters. Can anyone spot the difference?
