Today, my 31st Birthday, feels like a great day for a re-introduction.

Hey Y’all. I’m Sara, owner and lead designer of the Atlanta, Georgia and Auburn, Alabama based . Pictures here is my wonderful husband, Patrick, and our Beige Boys, Sulley and Sherman.

My passion for floral design revolves around color, seasonality, and sustainability. In addition to floral design, I also have a passion for film photography (looking at you bag of undeveloped film that I still need to mail), specifically film photography of the floral designs that I make.

Outside of my floral and film work, we are expecting our first child in just a few short weeks and I cannot wait to raise her around the beauty of flowers and creativity. So keep your eyes peeled for more beauty in 2025 (like the setup pictured here) and I can’t wait to see what Unorthodox is able to make 💕

Things have been a little quiet over here because… the newest tiny assistant is joining Unorthodox at the beginning of 2025 and we absolutely cannot wait to meet her!

While I prepare to go on leave I want to remind everyone of a few things:
- 2025 books are open (just send an inquiry on my website!)
- While I’ll be on leave the first quarter of 2025, I am already planning some absolutely wonderful things for later next year and beyond!
- The early bird list is still being made for 2026, if you want to be on it, just shoot me a message and you get first dibs at 2026 dates when they open!

Over the next month I’ll be recapping everything that Unorthodox created this year, and I can’t wait 💕
