Having been pinged and had to self isolate I was disappointed over the weekend to miss a great showcase and 2 beautiful weddings for couples who have waited over 2years to get married due to covid. However, I count my blessings that I’m symptom free that my loved ones are safe and I’m using the time to build a new website, research new ideas and a little bit of self love and care so I can come back stronger

Spare a thought for your suppliers in the coming weeks a little bit of patience goes a long way especially in this time of rescheduled weddings.

>> We are BOTH shooting TWO separate weddings today! We also both have weddings on Thursday, Friday and Sunday this week, so emails may be a little behind- please bear with these next two weeks are our busiest of the year!!!

Only the 2nd wedding of the year but what an amazing couple. Small intimate wedding for 30 due to current guidelines BUT the emotion, fun and love in the room was incredible especially after a year of some family and friends not seeing each other.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Tilly for sharing your day with me, neither of you were Bridezillas!

🌎 WILL YOU PLEASE STAND. 🌍

Stand up for weddings. Stand up for engaged couples. Stand up for suppliers and venues. Stand up for creatives. Stand up for culture. Stand up for society. Stand up for artists. Stand up for your friends or family.

In the U.K. we have been closed in all but name since March 2020 without any meaningful or targeted financial support. Couples have not been told when they can marry again, or in what capacity. Suppliers have not been told when they can expect to work again.

No planned exit for the wedding industry means that newly engaged couples are understandably nervous about making any definite plans until there is a clearer picture.

We ask our leaders for financial support and guidance on reopening. We must not lose our talent. We must not lose livelihoods. But above all else, we must not forget the importance of love and commitment.

Do you know somebody whose wedding has had to be postponed? Are you an engaged couple? Are you a wedding supplier? Is somebody in your family a wedding supplier? Will you please stand for the wedding industry and post this on your social media pages. Tag your guests and suppliers, your colleagues and your friends. Tell your story. Let’s ensure we are seen and heard.

STAND UP. Stand up for weddings. 💕
