Do I still need a planner if my venue has a coordinator?

Short answer: YES!!

Venue coordinators are amazing — but they work for the venue, not for you. They focus on venue-specific things like tables, chairs, and catering (if in-house).

A wedding planner or day-of coordinator works for you — managing all your vendors, timeline, design, and alllll the behind-the-scenes magic to make sure your day runs smoothly.

Bottom line: Venue managers take care of the venue. Planners take care of YOU.

Wedding Planner: Your go-to gal from day one! I help you find vendors, design your day, manage your budget, create timelines — basically take all the stress off your plate from start to finish. Think of me as your wedding BFF and project manager all in one.

Wedding Coordinator: Usually hops in about 4-6 weeks before the big day to tie up all the loose ends. They confirm vendors, finalize the timeline, and make sure your wedding day runs smoothly — but they’re not involved in the full planning process.
