First picture is making seafood stock this morning from boiled crab shells and (my version of) New Orleans Barbecue shrimp heads and shells.

The Roux Babe had another successful catering event at Rodeo Austin last night! Tracy Byrd Music was treated to a Charcuterie Board, Roasted Beef Tenderloin, 4 Cheese Macaroni and Cheese, Spring Salad, and Banana Pudding. I heard Mr. Byrd went back for a second plate! Also heard “knocked it out of the park’ “everybody LOVED it” “we’re ready for next year” !!!

Such a fabulous day for The Roux Babe!!! Catered today for the Barons Creek Vineyards Tasting Room Georgetown February Wine Club Pick Up Party. The them was Award Season, so we had a super fancy lunch of……Shrimp Cocktail, Salmon Crostinis, Chicken & Waffles, Beef Tenderloin Sliders, and Caprese Salad Skewers…♥️ it. was. GOLDEN.
