Birdwitch are a doomgaze band formed in Norwich, in early 2023 by Raya, Grant, Jade, Kieron and Tim, after the success of their dynamic, ethereal first show with Froglord and Consecration in July, they’re looking forward to welcoming many more people to experience the melancholic void they call their nest.

Your Arms Are My Cocoon is the bedroom pop and screamo project of Chicago-based musician, Tyler Odom. He gained traction on the internet with his self titled EP based on a lo-fi sound, featuring emotional lyrics and chilling vocals.

It was so hard to find bands Your Arms Are My Cocoon are similar to, we settled with Nintendo music, lo-fi and sweet dreams, all encapsulating the energy which Tyler exudes on stage.

Our openers for tonight include 1549, a new band on the scene! 1549 are a local trio inspired by bands such as Stiff Little Fingers, New Model Army and The Clash. Their namesake is in memory of Robert Kett, the Norwich rebel, and like whom, are Ready to run riot in the streets of the Norwich; with songs that are politically charged and about their “Scum of the Earth” background. Featuring a past member of SBT…

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Also joining us are RUDIMENTARY PASTE! ✨

Rudimentary Paste emerge like the withered oldmanbabyface of Kuato from the exposed torso of foamcore pioneers such as Not Your Damned Apples, Universal Disappointment Sponge and Morse Code Operator #2. Post-postmodernist art-rock manwrong wonk nonsense that views the fiasco of the current political landscape through the lens of John Carpenter’s The Thing, Harryhausen stop-motion and Troma Entertainment to conjure audio images of upside-down Kwasi Kwarteng/Ed-209 hybrids, post-Brexit Octopus Milk farmers and a Godzillaesque Eric Monkman rampaging through downtown Tokyo. This delicious soup is noise-flavoured.

We’re so happy to have them after missing out on their show a few months backk! 🤘

Amourette are a 4 piece Norwich based alt-punk band formed in November 2023. After meeting through college, the band developed a loud and energetic approach to making music - with influences from Paramore, Radiohead and Vundabar. Unafraid of making noise and turning heads, Amourette hopes to capture the heart of the crowd with their exciting take on rock music, evoking elements of grunge and anthemic, explosive punk.
