Fruit or flesh who rules you?

Self-control holds all the Fruits of the Spirit in proper stewardship.

The ability to say “no” to anything in excess—self-control—is one of the fruits of the Spirit common to all believers.

Take a look at all areas of your life like habits, behaviours and the things that you focus on and see if self-control comes before those desires and passions of the flesh!

(Galatians 5:22-24 NIV — But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Pray in tongues at least an hour a day, it will strengthen you. It is a powerful weapon given by God.

Praying in the spirit is prayer directly to God. Paul said, 1 Corinthians 14:18 NASB20 — I thank God, I speak in tongues more than you all;

This prayer is 100% fruitful and the will of God. Your understanding is unfruitful but God knows what your spirit is praying.

1 Corinthians 14:14 NASB20 — For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive.

Romans 8:26-27 NASB20 — Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

It is wise to Fear God, Parents & those in authority.

"fear of the Lord" encompasses more than simple fear. ... In Proverbs 15:33, the fear of the Lord is described as the "discipline" or "instruction" of wisdom.

Father and mothers who teach their children to honour their authority given to them by God will raise children to obey others in authority including God.

Romans 13:1-2 says: "Obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow."

We should seek to honor our parents in much the same way that we strive to bring glory to God, in our thoughts, words, and actions.

Exodus 20:12 NASB20 — “Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the LORD your God gives you.

For a young child, obeying parents goes hand in hand with honoring them. That includes listening, heeding, and submitting to their authority.

Ephesians 6:1-3 NIV — Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

Bad children will have a "depraved mind" and those who exhibit ungodliness in the last days are characterized by disobedience to parents. Romans 1:30 NASB20 — slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 2 Timothy 3:2 NASB20 — For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

God will not honor those who will not obey His command to honor their parents. Colossians 3:20 NIV — "Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord." Throughout the ancient world (including under Old Testament law, Deut 21:18-21), minor children were expected to obey their parents.

Jesus Christ stands waiting, ready to pick you up in your broken, useless condition, put you back on the Potters wheel and begin to mould you into what He wants you to be. But how do you submit to a Sovereign God? You submit unto death and you say, " I am willing to die to my will, my way, my hopes, my dreams, my plans and my schemes. I'm placing my whole life in Your hands. I am bowing my knees, my heart, my head, my hands and my entire spirit soul and body in Your presence. I am submitting to the Sovereignty of God, simply because He is God, and He loves me.

Life is a journey involving phases and in between the phases you'll undergo a transition period. These are moments when you feel lost, confused, unseen, angry, empty and uncertain about your next step. Do not confuse your transition period to be your next phase. You're not broken. You're only breaking away from what was, in preparation for what shall be. Things shall turn out better.

Romans 8:14 KJV
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the son's of God.

The phrase " as many as are led by the Spirit of God " is more than a synonym for Christians. It describes the lifestyle of those who are son's of God. Paul is giving encouragement not to live according to the flesh but to put to death the deeds of the body ( Vs 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die, but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live ).
Therefore, being " led by the Spirit of God " involves progressively putting to death the sinful appetites of the lower nature. This implies that, while all Christians are in some general sense being " led by the Spirit of God ", there are increasing degrees of being led by the Spirit.
The more fully people are led by the Holy Spirit , the more completely will they be obedient to God and be conformed to His holy standards.
Since the Greek word translated LED is a present participle, it may be translated,

" as many as are CONTINUALLY being led by the Spirit of God. "

This leading is not to be restricted to objective knowledge of the commands of Scripture and conscious effort to obey them, ( though it MOST certainly includes that). RATHER, it more fully includes the subjective factor of being sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit throughout, promptings that if genuinely from the Holy Spirit will never encourage us to act contrary to scripture.
