Can you tell there is a tropical storm going on outside? No? Didn’t think so!
Kathryn and Ken’s charming, intimate wedding in Old Towne Alexandria was just as memorable even without the sun shining.
Having a rain plan, even if it’s not ideal, is an absolute must when any part of your wedding is set to be outside. Thankfully, we discussed rain plans and options weeks in advance, so even though we had no way of predicting a tropical storm, we were still able to execute another fabulous wedding for a wonderful couple🤍

This past week I had both my branding session and my family photos taken. I hate being behind the camera, but when I see photos like these, my heart soars.

Sometimes I wish I could stop time. My maternity leave is slowly coming to an end and the hustle and bustle with our everyday lives, I feel like I don’t always get to appreciate the small moments. Mila turned 2 months yesterday, Nikolas will be 22 months tomorrow, time is a thief.

Happy Monday! Let’s chat “wow factors” shall we??

I love a good wow factor in every space or throughout the day; ceremony, cocktail and reception. Triple points if you are able to use your “wow factor” as an interactive activity for guests.

For example, a photo backdrop, or a favor guests can take home, OR something that doubles as their es**rt card.

Kissin summer goodbye! I am always a tad hesitant to welcome a new season, especially when I know that means colder weather is following close behind. Beach days are over and sweater weather is coming.

However, I am SO excited for our jam packed fall season, full of weddings for wonderful couples who are ready to celebrate their love!

Also, super excited for Niko to experience his first autumn and his first Halloween!!

Carley and Christian’s wedding day holds a place near and dear to my heart.
Carley and I have been friends since high school, and we talked about this day many, many times. Watching her marry the man of her dreams makes my heart so full.

We have been through a lot together; poms, boys, prom, graduation, heartbreak, pregnancy, and now marriage.

Their 15 person, micro wedding was one for the books. I am beyond thrilled I was able to be a part of their special day, and wish them nothing but the utmost happiness in the world.

I love wedding days. The hustle and bustle, the details, the joy.
However, one of my favorite parts that I get to play, is getting everyone down the aisle, especially when the bridal party consists of flower girls and or ring bearers.
Let me tell you, it’s not always easy to get these little humans down the aisle. It’s not always easy to get big humans down the aisle! Let’s be real! But nobody really cares. Guests will be so excited to see their little faces regardless of how it all turns out.
I had a blast with these two, sweet flower girls. There were some nerves, and a little hesitancy, but THEY MADE IT! All the way down, hand in hand.

And just like that, vacation comes to an end.
I love the beach. I could spend weeks on end here and never get tired of it.
This vacation was a very special one. It was the first time Niko was at the beach. He was in my tummy last year, in this exact same house, the size of an apple seed.
This year he enjoyed his first time in the pool, his little feet in the ocean and the sand, and meeting new family members. He was perfect. And loved every second of it.

Seeing him enjoying himself so much, added a new perspective and joy to our family vacation. Not to mention, so many new memories shared with people we love.

Now, I’m back, ready to tackle a 15 wedding spree in 2 months, with the best team behind me.

T-10 days until we embark on our rebranding journey!! The countdown is officially ON.
Looking back a few months ago, August felt so far away but it’s here, faster than I had imagined!
I am beyond excited for this journey and where it will take LLE&D in the future.
So much thought has gone into each detail, creating this new vision of mine and I am so excited to share it with you.
The little details are my absolute favorite things to focus on, and such an easy way for others to get to know what makes you, you. And I hope this new brand I’m creating does just that!

We are smack dab in the middle of peak wedding season and it’s a crazy one!
Early mornings full of emails, phone calls, tastings and walkthroughs. And late, late nights, full of emails, floor plans, timelines and baby feedings however, I wouldn’t want it any other way!!
I am so excited to say, we are already completely full for April and October 2022! INSANE! But I am lovin it!

June, you were too good to us. Back to back to back weddings, giving us the opportunity to serve wonderful couples, and making their dream wedding come to life.

As we begin to round out our June weddings, let me take you back to this past weekend for Lauren + Bradley’s wedding.

It rained just minutes before opening the barn doors to begin the ceremony but as you can see it cleared and they were able to say their “I do’s” with this stunning view behind them.
We were honored to be apart of their special day, and wish them all the happiness in the world!!

I remember first talking with Anna last August. I was on vacation, walking up and down the beach, basically yelling over the crashing waves so she could hear me. We had so much in common; mutual friends, and same alma mater, just to mention a few.

I rarely show my face on social media, hell I rarely post. I’m awful at it- captions, what photos to post and when. The list goes on, not my forte.

But today, I decided, I wanted to share my little family with you and what drives me to do better, be better and recently, a much needed nap.

This is my world.

And I must be honest, I didn’t want to take these photos. Being behind the camera so quickly after having a baby, but I’m so grateful I did. My baby boy turns 2 months on Saturday. He’s growing like a w**d and will never be this small again. I can’t believe now, I even questioned myself, and wish I had just done it even sooner. Next time, fingers crossed.

Summer weddings are here yall! Now that it’s June (crazy!!!) I am slowly crawling out from maternity leave and getting back into the swing of things, even if that means with a venti coffee in tow the entire time. I cannot thank my couples enough for being so patient and understanding while we adjust to our new bundle of joy.
Emails, planning calls and even in-person meetings, imagine that are on my daily to-do list.

We have a wedding every weekend in June and I could not be more excited to see our beautiful couples tie the knot!
Y’all pop some champagne and I’ll bring the coffee.

Welcome to the wold, little man.
Childbirth was nothing like I imagined all these years when I pictured what it would be like. First, I was petrified when I was told I would be induced a few weeks back. I’ve heard pitocin is no joke. But I never thought I would have a natural birth, at least not the first time. It was the hardest thing I ever had to endure, yet the most rewarding. Thank you for making me a mommy.

It’s April!!
Although I really, really don’t like April fools day, I do love this balloon installation!
It’s been a rough few days but there is so much to look forward to this month!

It’s Friday!!
To be honest, sometimes, especially lately I forget what day of the week it really is. Everything just blends together. So much on my mind and my to-do list over the next month that it almost feels as if there is no real weekend. Anyone else??

I woke up this morning with a huge urge to just CLEAN! Nesting is beginning, I guess?!

I’ve been trying so hard to knock out so many tasks, not only around the house but within my business before the little man makes his debut in April. But I’m so nervous I won’t be able to complete everything I want to do. New mammas, how did you balance everything??

Major shoutout to my amazing husband who has been working nonstop around the house and prepping the nursery for the little man. I couldn’t do this without you.
