m a r i g o l d s f o r e v e r 🧡 the idea to name the farm marigold rhode came from my obvious love for growing marigolds… a tribute to getting to grow up as an island girl here in good ol rhode island…. BUT ✨ also for my love of the RHODodendron! both nostalgic & hearty plants in my book!

“Magic isn't somewhere else. It isn't a series of distant rituals, ancient texts and expensive courses. Magic is turning to the world, and seeing it, and knowing we are indistinguishable from it, in all our embodied, strange, soft and edgeless form. We are in the world and it is in us.” just daydreaming about our summer 💭🦋🌾✨ didn’t know that was a thing but am 100% here for it! cmon summer

my hardworking girl 🧡

sometimes you just gotta farm in your bathing suit & blueberry glitter jelly shoes ya know?? so proud of this little gal- she helped me all morning get some plants in the ground, w**d & water (she was rewarded with a first beach day of the year & icecream btw) teach the children to take care of the earth- and the earth will take care of you 🧡✨ all the main production marigolds are in the ground and as we continue to plant all sorts of different fun crops, all the small varieties of marigolds are being stuck at end of beds for some more trialing this year - happy growing season y’all

the art of cell tray transportation…. it’s a thing!!!! especially when your company’s only vehicle is a pick up 🙃 just a reminder that when you support a local farm, you’re supporting a small local family (like Forest & I 🥰) & sustainability in your community 🧡 75% of cut flowers in the united states are being imported - bathed in neurotoxic carcinogenic chemicals to preserve them through transportation & eradicate invasive pests… before reaching the kitchen counter, imported flowers travel between 1,500 to over 4,000 miles in refrigerated planes, trucks, boats etc. THESE LIL SPROUTS 🌱 are grown from seed, CHEMICAL FREE & SUSTAINABLY…. straight from the green house to the field which is a ten minute drive ✨

It reminds us creativity is everywhere. Be process-oriented, and soon your “work” becomes like the weaving of a magical priceless tapestry. starts tomorrow at 6 am and we have a matching donor willing to match donations made on March 31st up to $1000!

Why support this 401 Gives:

We are extremely proud of the work we have accomplished over the past year including our partnership with the Commercial Fisheries Center of RI ( ) to donate over 113,000 lbs of seafood to people in need through the RI Seafood Donations Program. Since August of 2020, the program has donated over 260,000 lbs of local seafood which equates to approximately 173,000 meals to communities in need. In addition to all of the events (cooking classes, dinners, and cooking demos) and presentations (including conferences and college/university classes) we've held, species served, and amazing partnerships with chefs, seafood businesses, seafood ambassadors, and other organizations we've built, we will soon be sharing the results from our most recent major research project focused on how New England seafood supply chains will adapt to shifting species distributions. Stay tuned to learn more later this spring! This is all to say, as a small organization, we are making waves and your donation helps us to make an ocean's worth of impact! 🌊🦀🐟🦑🐡🦞🦪
