Food is probably at the top of my Love Language list so making my own sauces comes with such joy!
The tomatoes are picked fresh from my farm, roasted and then frozen.

Food Education
Teaching about the Nutrition has always been a joy of mine so it brings me so much joy when I can come to prepare a meal with some education attached to it.
At the South Augusta Farmer’s Market, I shop from the farmers tables all the produce I will be using to highlight their products and to show patrons how to prepare a healthy and tasty meal with wholesome ingredients and cooking methods.
We had purple & orange sweet potato hash mixed with a variety of peppers, crispy lion mane mushrooms strips, salsa and a persimmon & banana smoothie. Shop with our local farmers that are tagged below.

When cooking vegetables, sometimes we have to get creative in order to feed our picky eaters.
I used 5 different vegetables with this sauce but understand, you can use any vegetables you want to make a blend for veggie sauce.
You can eat this pasta by itself or add any other meat protein alongside it. Enjoy.

It’s Soup Season!!!
Before the kids and I head out to Comfort Farms tomorrow, I had to prepare a few food prep options for us so I did Chicken Noodle Soup!
Tip: When cooking soups for a later time, freeze it instead of refrigeration to retain its freshness and so that the noodles don’t soak up all the broth.
Tip: Never EVER defrost anything (especially meats) in Hot Water. Defrosting is only to be done in cold water; recommended overnight in the refrigerator vs on the counter or sink.
Plan ahead so that you don’t have to compromise.. that’s in anything in life.

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade
Lemonade is only 3 ingredients (fresh squeezed lemon juice, water, pure cane sugar) and it does not include yellow food coloring or chemicals of any kind.
Lemonade is translucent in color and should never be Yellow like the lemon.
Read your ingredient list on anything you purchase to be mindful of what you’re putting in your body.
If you have store bought shelf lemonade or that powder, TOSS IT OUT NOW.
Your temple is only protected if you protect it.

Tomato Sauce One thing I love to make is my sauces from scratch! After harvesting 125 tomatoes, giving 100 away, the remaining 25 was used for sauce. I used half and froze the rest. Try to make this at home and you’ll never buy store bought sauce again! #farmtotable #tomatoes #tomatosauce #stchef
