He told me he wants to marry me, that he is processing his Canadian visa and he wants to marry and take his wife with him."

"He showed me documents that he has gone for biometrics and all his bank statements with 4 million. He said to process visa for his wife he will need support to do it."

"After some weeks he asked for my parents number . I told him that it is too early but he said time waits for nobody. He needs to meet them and if everything goes fine he will start processing my visa also . So I gave him their number. He called them and fixed a date to meet in the village. They approved. "

"He now called me and said the money he has now will not be able to take us. That we need a car for the movement as he is afraid of public transport. That after seeing them when we are going for paying of bride price and other things we will use the car. Instead of flight. That if he can get 2million to add to his money, we can get a Toyota of 5 million and the remaining money for expenses. If I can give him 2million. So I gave him the 2million. After some days he called me that he has been making enquiries on how to get this car from Lagos but cars are expensive now that he suggests we travel by air to the village."

"So on the 11th of February we traveled to see my brother and then to Enugu to see my mum and they all liked and accepted him."

"When we came back on the 17th February, I asked him for the visa process. He called me and said the agent who did his own is 6 million but now dollar is high and he should deposit 4.3 million of the 8million he was charging before he could start so I said okay. He said he will use his 3million but I should add 1.3million let him use it to start my visa process. I sent him the 1.3million. He said they have start it. "

"They sent a document to fill and I did and gave him my passport and other documents."

"After a month he said the man has sent my appointment letter and that my biometrics is on the 14th of April. He kept collecting money. Kept asking from me that he has invested all his money. Including barbing his hair , I will pay. "

"In May he said his friend in Vietnam said he should come and work there and I accepted. He made preparation. His friend in Vietnam sent him ticket money but he said the person he gave "ate" the money and did not use it for that purpose. That I should loan him money to add and buy ticked that he will pay back. I sent him 600k. He said once he gets this job he will pay. "

"After traveling for some days he called me that the business is bad business. That it is co***ne money and they are using rituals to back it up. That they said that if he does not do the rituals he cannot join the business. I told him not to do it. That he should come back."

"He said okay."

"He kept asking for money. I said he should ask his family members but he said that I am his wife. That if he over stays they will start charging 10usd per day because his visa was for 1 month."

"We started searching for money . He said he wants the best for us. That is it not my visa that made him lose all that he had?"

"He said I should carry my television and iPhone to his friend. He said I should give it to the person so I took it there. He said the man will give him 400k to add and get ticket. I later called the man when I started investigating and the man said prince came and collected those things from him that he never sold them. "

"The last time he travelled he said he wants to sell my electric kettle and blender and use it for transport. I told him not to. That day when I came back from work I noticed that he has carried them. He said he needed the money. He can enter my house because he knows where I keep my key."

"He is owing me above 6million that I gave him"

"Any time I ask for the agents number he will refuse to give me. When I asked for my money he said he will not give me."

Some fans of Nollywood actress, Nkiru Slyvanus, have raised questions about the identity of her fiancé, after she shared pre-wedding photos, where his face was not visible.

The actress shared some photos of herself and her fiancé on Wednesday via her Instagram account, following the announcement of her engagement on December 30, 2022.

An Instagram user, Promise Merit, said, “Congratulations to you guys, ‘oga' is not showing face oo.”

Another user, Charity Obalimu, said in Pidgin English, “You dey hide him face abi ok, congrats.”

Another user, Nwunye Odogwu, asked why she is hiding his face saying, “This one wey dey hide face hmmn, congratulations”

Just In: Pope Benedict di€s aged 95

Former Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has di€d at the age of 95, the Vatican announced in a statement on Saturday, December 31.

This comes almost a decade after he resigned because of ailing health.

Recall that Benedict led the Catholic Church for less than eight years until, in 2013, he became the first Pope to resign since Gregory XII in 1415.

Benedict spent his final years at the Mater Ecclesiae monastery within the walls of the Vatican, BBC news reports.

“With sorrow I inform you that the Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI, passed away today at 9:34 in the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in the Vatican.

Further information will be provided as soon as possible,” the Vatican said.
