🔥 Introducing MELTDARN EVENTS 🔥
Our summer party see's a first for OTR with the addition of a Hard House arena which will be hosted by Meltdarn Events and Wiggle. We're extremely excited to have both brands involved for this one and we know that hard room is going to go off!

If you've not come across the MELTDARN guys before then here's a bit of background on the brand and what to expect in August ❤️

Meltdarn Events are a hard dance brand based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Founded in 2021 straight after lockdown the brand has taken the scene by storm and thrown some of the most fun and memorable parties of recent years.

The brand prides itself on promoting new talent and has given many new upcoming and undiscovered DJs the chance to showcase their skills in a club environment and share the stage alongside well known headline artists, many of which have gone on to gain future bookings with other top promoters.

Meltdarn are known for throwing awesome parties, whether it be solo or working with others their approach to the scene and relationships with other brands has led to some amazing collaboration events including Bassvaultt and the outstanding Meltdarn Vs Shed event in early 2023, so much so that this summer will see them again team up with Shed as they host a room at the iconic Doncaster Warehouse as part of one of the biggest hard dance parties of 2024!

Meltdarn are planning more solo and Collab events in the future including a tour taking the party to more locations around the UK and growing their orange and black army on the way, expect good vibes and shenanigans when the Meltdarn parties in town!

We've seen a surge in tickets for this event over the last couple of days, 1st release is now 50% sold, if you've not got yours then get involved before the price increase, link is in the comments 😎

A bit far for me to travel in August but this competition looks interesting if any of my DJ friends fancy a trying out for a cool opportunity.

Competition Time!
"The Warm Up Set"

An opportunity previously for DJ's to spin their choice of slightly more obscure bangers and warm up a club from zero for the first hour of an event. Now a lost art as everyone seems to just jump straight in at 100MPH, we have decided to try & bring it back!

This is an opportunity for either a seasoned DJ or an up & comer!

We won't tell you what to play but keep in mind that we start out our support DJ's (after warm-up set) at around 145/150BPM and go from hard house, all the way through hard dance & hard trance and work our way through to the hard stuff!

Rules....
- The Mix must be 30-60 minutes

- You should upload it to your preferred platform and DM us the link.
(Sound cloud/Mix Cloud/Hear This/ Drop Box etc...)

- You should entitle the upload as "[insert DJ name here] Warm up Evolution Competition Mix 2024"

- You must be available on August 24th

- Travel to/from the venue will be your responsibility.

- Deadline is July 5th 2024 & a winner will be selected ASAP.

Winner will receive an hour opening slot at our next event, the chance to perform a guest mix on Stackin Radio Show, a plus 1 on the night and also access to " the green room" & hospitality, the same as the rest of the DJ's on the line-up.
