so i sent out the first batch of invites (they were hand delivered so if you don’t live in the schenectady area or i don’t know your address for worry those weren’t given out yet) and about 90% of those i gave them out to asked me the same thing “what does the dress attire mean” “what can i wear”, so here’s something you can look back on or screenshot when it comes to buying your fit for the big day!

also before you say anything about the style, i don’t think all of these are cute nor do i even like some of them, i just looked up “wedding attire” on amazon and screenshotted what would be & wouldn’t be acceptable/appropriate for our wedding. this was all 100% just based on what was on the first few pages!h

our colors are shades of purple (lilac, lavender, mauve, violet, etc) and green (sage, mint, fern, olive, etc) so the screenshots i took were of those colors. i’m not saying you can’t wear other colors but i am saying you might look funny wearing light blue when everyone else is wearing these colors lol.

i didn’t think i would have to say it but just so it has been said, seriously absolutely no fu***ng white bc i personally have a big group of people who will fu***ng jump your ass and kick you tf out if you show up in it.

there are some cute fits that i put in the “❌” category just cause it might look too close to the wedding crew attire or you might look too fancy/too much like a wedding crew member.

i didn’t do any “✅” masculine pic cause i feel like it’s the most simplest thing you can do and as long as it’s not in the “❌” i don’t think i would have an issue.

after work i spent all day wedding planning, from personalized itineraries, signage, and seating chart drafts. wedding planning is not this overcoming struggle that you survive but i’ve noticed that famous wedding planners/soon to be spouses take these super aesthetically pleasing pictures but realistically speaking my desk never looks as pretty as the pics they post. 😭

today we picked our final two bridesmaids and hopefully the wedding party will not change any further 😅 i spent a few hours listing every single thing that needed to get done so i could make sure i don’t forget anything when the day does get here.

we also went through baby photos of me for the reception and here are some highlights that i think sum up my personality to a T!

today we celebrate 5 years together. a big milestone! i thank my fiancé for making me this wonderful meal (i helped w my own calzone). we didn’t do much wedding planning today but there’s still lots to do!

i spent another day planning intensely from the beginning of my day to the end. majority of my planning was focused on the itinerary for the weekend of the wedding so i can i have a base for programs and schedules for our selective crews.

i plan on printing invites soon and sending them out before august/beginning of august.

all i have to say about today really is that canva is my very best friend 🥹

i’m planning on having a video call with my bridescrew prior to october to show them a slideshow with all the information they could possibly need for the wedding.

today we met with a officiant via zoom to discuss them possibly officiating our marriage. we give her an answer in the next few days! we also officially have a photographer. everything is looking so good!
