Wanting a very book of your own for a special occasion and do not have the time to put one together?? Let me know and I would be more than happy to do it for you!

Pictured below is a recipe book that also served as a sign in book. We sent out recipe cards to each guest with their invitation, requesting that they fill them out before the shower and only on one side so that they could be taped in, next to a note of congratulations for the couple.

You. Guys. I had an absolute blast putting this party together. The momma of this wild, sassy two year old asked me if I design invitations(slide to the end for a peek at those) then went ahead and let me run the whole thing.

We added in some accent greens and wood pieces to give it a more “wild” feel and stuck with neutrals and pinks. All I needed to complete the look was a peacock chair. SO if anyone has one for sale or knows someone that is selling one…SEND THEM MY WAY

This semester I decided I would try my hand at a little bit of graphic design. I knew that learning Adobe programs would not only be beneficial for myself, but also for my future clients. By gaining this skill set, I now have the capabilities of creating custom invitations, thank you notes, signage and anything else you could think of!
The first half of the semester was spent learning Adobe Illustrator, which is what the paper alphabet poster and record, albums, and sleeve were created on. For the paper alphabet poster we had to make every letter of the alphabet look like it was folded out of paper, using this project to my advantage, I promoted my business. As for the record, we were given so much freedom, from creating our own album and band name, songs, and record label. I chose to go with an album that gave you the feeling of riding/hiking in the mountains, and incorporated a map on the translucent sleeve and a compass on the record.

A dust bowl themed party, just hold the dust bowl. Throw in some mixed metals, old wooden elements, burlap, wheat and oats, a tattered, dirty white sheet and you’ll be on you way back in time.

And before anyone asks, yes I do know how to spell ‘poor’...I was just able to incorporate a little word play for this event.;)

Before I start any design, I put together a mood board. Some may not know what a mood board is, so let me explain. These boards are visual tools that communicate the concept and ideas of the design, making it easier to express the plan to others and help define the project. This mood board is for a birthday party I am planning...can anyone guess what the theme of this event is?!

woodland baby shower

We have all heard of bougie on a budget and, well, that is exactly what was achieved here. The driftwood arch pieces were found in a creek near my house. Every wood slab that is seen, and not seen, I took the time to wood burned myself. So whenever you hear me say I LOVE all the details, big or small, I mean it. The cute sweets were made by yours truly and an amazing helper, Keagan Rietzke

Not pictured, but I think deserve to be mentioned, are the games that were created by the talented Hailey Franklin. I know everyone in attendance would agree with me when I say they turned out AMAZING.

From start to finish, I was there for every detail of the event. Designing the invitations, planning the brunch menu, and making the exploding pumpkin were just a few of my highlights from this reveal.

Okay, you little partiers. As well as planning and designing, I also am renting out décor. If you or anyone you know of has bookoo décor from an event, whether it be table cloths, vases, furniture, and everything in between, I would love to look at the items. As an event planner, I love the logistics. I will create a timeline, act as a liaison between you and your vendors, and make sure your event goes off without a hitch. As an event designer, I thrive on design and décor. I adore this aspect simply because it is highly creative and allows me to have the ability to completely transform a space. As both, the planner and the designer, I want you to love every element, dedicating myself to creating an event filled with details that personalize your celebration and tell your unique story.
