It’s been a while since I did an introduction post, so here we go!

Hi, I’m Jennifer of JG Events and Special Moments. I’ve been planning events for 6 years and coordinating weddings for almost 2 years now.

I started out planning fundraisers, then partnered in planning a women’s retreat, and finally moved on to Weddings. And just this month added Marriage Proposal Planning to my list!

I enjoy planning any event, working behind the scenes and pulling everything together. However, weddings have become my favorite.

When I’m not planning or working events I’m working as a nurse, spending time with my family and friends, reading my Bible, and catching up on episodes of 20/20. Oh, and slowly starting to freak out that I’ll be 40 this year! Part of me is excited and part of me is nervous, but life is about the ups and downs and everything in between. That’s why events and celebrations are so important.

As a Wedding Coordinator, people often ask me what kind of wedding I want when I marry my Mr. Right. I hope that’s a decision my future husband and I make together, however I’ve always liked the idea of a winter wedding. Specifically a December wedding, with a blanket of snow on the ground. No frigid temperatures and definitely no ice. But there is something about a snowy wedding that makes my heart feel happy.

No matter what season you get married in, one thing is for sure; you need a WEDDING COORDINATOR! If you’re tying the knot in 2025 and need someone to run the day, I’m your girl! From coordinating rehearsal the night before, to receiving and directing guests, coordinating with your DJ, caterer and photographers, and of course taking care of any last minute details, I would LOVE to help with it all! As 2024 is coming to a close, I want to thank everyone who helped my business, JG Events and Special Moments, to grow this year. Because of you I was able to coordinate 8 Weddings during my first year as a Wedding Coordinator. Thank you to all the vendors and venues who I had the privilege of working with this year. A special thank you to the Brides and Grooms who hired me to help with their big day. You put your trust in me and that is something I will forever be grateful for, and will truly cherish.
