We took a historic venue - and created an unexpected mid-century design to give Brooke and Lucas the not-your-typical black tie wedding of their damn dreams. We focused on creating juxtaposition with the marble and lush greens, textured linens and rich colors.

When I first met Jess and Matt they told me “We are hoping to work with a planner and designer that can help us think outside of the box when crafting this experience.”

When we started the design process they didn’t come to me with a specific color palette or detailed Pinterest board — instead they shared and I listened.

❤️‍🔥 They wanted their wedding to look warm, romantic and unique.

❤️‍🔥 They wanted dinner to feel special, like the main event.

It’s not about it being ~*all about the details*~ — it’s about the details being all about you.

Yes, Brenna and Tim’s wedding was dripping in juicy details (🤤🤤🤤) but what made their design extra special was that every element was intentionally chosen to reflect them, and enhance the natural surroundings they fell in love with. This es**rt display was designed to feel like a natural extension of this Stowe property while creating a statement moment that every guest got to interact with.

Designing with purpose is something we will always take great pride in - and it shows ❤️‍🔥

There is truly nothing like sharing a place that is so special to you with your guests on your wedding day. Choosing the Shelburne Museum Brick House was an easy choice for Dewey and AJ — and their guests clearly could see why. I mean, are you kidding me with these views?

I have so much to share about their incredible Vermont wedding and all the intimate details that went into it. But for now I’ll leave you with these views of Lake Champlain and their pure joy.

In their inquiry Ana and Ryan told me “We are a little quirky and loud and love to eat, drink, and dance and we want a celebration that embodies that and who we are in our truest form.” And I said — you fu***ng got it.

Can you plan a wedding without a wedding planner? Absolutely - but the real question is, do you want to?

Hiring a planner doesn’t take away your control - it gives you control of your life (yes the one outside of wedding planning.) How?

✨ It gives you back time. On average we spend up to 300 hours planning and designing our couples’ weddings - that’s 300 hours you get back to do whatever the hell you enjoy doing.

✨ It allows you to keep your sanity. Real talk, wedding planning should not be the only thing on your mind for 10+ months. It doesn’t need to be stressful, just ask our couples.

✨ You get to avoid making mistakes - big ones… costly ones. Trust me, we’ve made and seen them before so that you don’t have to.

Having a wedding as beautiful as this is so much easier when you have a team of badasses (who know what they’re doing) on your side. So, do you need us? You tell me.

There’s this pretty incredible moment right after the ceremony where it feels like every weight of your life has been lifted off your shoulders. In that moment you are overwhelmed with joy, peace and excitement.

Creating a plan and timeline that’s so good it allows you fully immerse yourself in your wedding day, with your loved ones and in your love — it’s what we do. Getting it right isn’t the goal, it’s the Madden Made experience, period.

Just because you’ve secured a venue doesn’t mean you’re too far along the process to being on a wedding planner. S**t is about to get real and now is the time to bring someone you trust on board to handle the BS - so you don’t have to.

s welcome parties are fun — but the truth is they also help alleviate a lot of pressure on your wedding day.

It can be overwhelming seeing all of your out of town guests for the first time after you literally just got married — being able to welcome and chat it up with the majority of your guests the night before takes off some serious pressure on your wedding day. Instead of feeling pulled in every direction to say hi to everyone, you have more space to enjoy your dinner and then meet everyone on the dance floor.

A historical venue on the harbor, hand painted custom stationery by their dear friend, local ingredients, lobster and blooms, and the perfect warm-but-breezy day gave Allison and Mike’s guests the most authentic Bar Harbor experience. Beauty was everywhere✨

I’m not going to lie, you’re not going to see much variance between wedding planners when you’re reviewing the bullet points of what they have to offer you.

The truth is, if you’re interviewing for a full service wedding planner you’re going to see a lot of the same lists of services from one proposal to the next. The real difference comes in what those planners can offer you outside of those bullet points – when you choose to work with me, you’re choosing me because

Cassie and Kosta came to me with no color palette or detailed Pinterest board — instead they shared and I listened. They believed in my ideas (even those that seemed out of the box), invested in the areas I communicated would be the most impactful, and they didn’t even review their own stationery or signage proofs (they literally saw it all for the first time at their own wedding.)

Your tented wedding needs a full service wedding planner and designer and so do you. Point blank period.

The truth is that planning and successfully executing a tented wedding is not only hard - it’s time consuming. Relying on your wedding planner’s design knowledge, expertise, and logistics-filled brain is going to be what keeps the planning experience from taking over your life.

Yeah I said it, and I mean it. Here is a list of things we think about so you don’t have to: power, lighting, mapping out the space, heating and cooling, mobile restrooms, water sources, power again, wall placement, confirming all your rental orders, overseeing multiple days of production, managing vendor installation and delivery schedules, confirming your rentals again, and the list goes on...

It quite literally takes your breath away when you get to witness a love so unapologetic, deep and joyful. A love strong enough to weather any storm — whether it be the storm that hit Boston in the middle of their vows, or the life altering health diagnose they continue to battle together.

“It feels like it’s been here forever” is what Tim said when he walked through the reception tent. Which is exactly how I wanted their design to feel.

Brenna and Tim envisioned a laidback celebration that leaned into the nature of Vermont and natural space of .lodge. There is so much more to say about this epic day but for now I’ll say - yeah, we fu***ng did that.

As we drive up to Vermont today for a wedding I’m reminded of Kara and Ben’s wedding last August at Fable Farm. I hate using the word perfect, because nothing is. In this case a rain storm hit us hard 30 minutes before guest arrival and logistical challenges were faced left and right — but when a day and night is filled with so much levity, joy and nature — it’s hard not to call it perfect. Plus, it wouldn’t be a wedding without some slightly crooked benches.
