Screw the expected. Dana and Dylan’s wedding was anything but ordinary; from the flow of events to the converted garage venue, to the colorful reception details to their all vinyl spinnin’ DJs. And let me tell you - they and their guests had one hell of a time. Everyone walked out from under the massive disco ball that night saying “this is so Dana and Dylan.” And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

“More espresso, less depresso” — pulled from a print in their apartment and translated into a whole vibe for their Brooklyn wedding.

The bar wasn’t just a moment, it was the moment — with statement lighting, a custom leather bound cocktail menu, laid back lounge sets, and way more personal details than one caption can capture. A vibey night with good drinks, check ❤️‍🔥

When you can’t find any reference photos on Pinterest, you know it’s going to be good ❤️‍🔥

When I brought this concept to Eliza at I had no reference photos to share with her other than some images of old TV guides. With just that she created something totally unique and really special (that people couldn’t stop talking about.)

Jess and Matt have a love for television and a soft spot for 90s nostalgia and rom coms. These TV Guide inspired wedding programs embodied that while giving their guests something to interact with and talk about. On top of being incredibly cool this guide checked off a ton of boxes: schedule of events, signature cocktail feature, guest seating assignments, a custom crossword puzzle, and a TV and film showcase of some of Jess and Matt’s collective favorites.

I cannot wait to share more of the unique details from this epic Brooklyn wedding.

Sometimes one small unexpected detail can be the most impactful. Yes, like fresh bread table number holders.

Brenna and Tim love trying new restaurants and a lot of their design was inspired by just that. By giving a fresh perspective to a necessary detail, it not only added texture and interest to the table design — it sparked conversation and became one of the most memorable (one one of my most asked about) details.

Together we will color outside of the lines of what you think a wedding design should look like or be — it’s what makes your wedding more than just “beautiful” — anyone can create a beautiful design, not everyone can create an iconic one.

Today as a woman, first generation American and small business owner I voted to protect human rights and for the values I advocate year round.

We took a historic venue - and created an unexpected mid-century design to give Brooke and Lucas the not-your-typical black tie wedding of their damn dreams. We focused on creating juxtaposition with the marble and lush greens, textured linens and rich colors.

When I first met Jess and Matt they told me “We are hoping to work with a planner and designer that can help us think outside of the box when crafting this experience.”

When we started the design process they didn’t come to me with a specific color palette or detailed Pinterest board — instead they shared and I listened.

❤️‍🔥 They wanted their wedding to look warm, romantic and unique.

❤️‍🔥 They weren’t afraid of color.

❤️‍🔥 They wanted dinner to feel special, like the main event.

It’s not about it being ~*all about the details*~ — it’s about the details being all about you.

Yes, Brenna and Tim’s wedding was dripping in juicy details (🤤🤤🤤) but what made their design extra special was that every element was intentionally chosen to reflect them, and enhance the natural surroundings they fell in love with. This es**rt display was designed to feel like a natural extension of this Stowe property while creating a statement moment that every guest got to interact with.

Designing with purpose is something we will always take great pride in - and it shows ❤️‍🔥

There is truly nothing like sharing a place that is so special to you with your guests on your wedding day. Choosing the Shelburne Museum Brick House was an easy choice for Dewey and AJ — and their guests clearly could see why. I mean, are you kidding me with these views?

Can you plan a wedding without a wedding planner? Absolutely - but the real question is, do you want to?

Hiring a planner doesn’t take away your control - it gives you control of your life (yes the one outside of wedding planning.) How?

✨ It gives you back time. On average we spend up to 300 hours planning and designing our couples’ weddings - that’s 300 hours you get back to do whatever the hell you enjoy doing.

✨ It allows you to keep your sanity. Real talk, wedding planning should not be the only thing on your mind for 10+ months. It doesn’t need to be stressful, just ask our couples.

✨ You get to avoid making mistakes - big ones… costly ones. Trust me, we’ve made and seen them before so that you don’t have to.

Having a wedding as beautiful as this is so much easier when you have a team of badasses (who know what they’re doing) on your side. So, do you need us? You tell me.
