The Geoclectic Grove An event space, community-building environment with short and long-term stays available all with a focus on human connection. So where is this journey going?

Our Journey: Names are powerful things and we wanted a name that fits the essence of what is to come. The geodesic dome is the heart and home of the property. Four eclectic spirits who- just as the word is defined- derive ideas, style, and taste from a broad and diverse range of sources, have come together with the desire to create community, learning, and love. We are surrounded by forested acrea

ge with majestic groves of trees and even a few redwoods that allow us immersive space in nature. We are on a mission to connect humans in an environment that offers a foundation to bring out our best. We know and we don’t know. What we know is we want to create community, we want to create experiences, we want to create an environment of learning and conscious connection. This path is going to be an amazing adventure that will be full of adversity and prosperity. Expect to see and engage in experiences that provide opportunities for human beings to grow and thrive. Music, dance, health, fitness, nature, education, spirituality, connection, movement, and play. Anything that brings us closer and expands our awareness. Another major facet is the goal of creating a village. The benefits of living in a conscious community are becoming recognized by society again. A village with a wide variety of people that bring different perspectives, awareness, and skills to share, teach and learn from one another is our ultimate hope. The ability to pool resources within this type of community has immeasurable value. We are choosing the path of a co-housing philosophy. Each person has their own personal sanctuary and the benefits of a supporting community. We want you to join us on our journey. There are multiple ways you can do this – virtually or in person. Follow us on social media – look for The Geoclectic Grove on FB and IG where we will be sharing our adventures. You can join the Kaleidoscopic Community public group on FB where we will post all of our future events on and off the property. If you are a community leader, we want to support your passion by providing a beautiful environment to host events. Reach out if this inspires you. Lastly, you might look at this as a place you want to call home. We want to consciously grow our co-housing community and that will require time and connection. Your actions will speak louder than words. We want to continually add value to the experience of the property by bringing in amazing leaders and teachers, while also providing a beautiful living space for those that are passionate about community. Feel free to share this with others and ask us questions. We are in a time where our community and connections can reach across the globe. The opportunity for something amazing and beautiful is here and if it speaks to you, let our journeys forge paths together.

We probably should update this more. 😘 Couple of new additions to the property. Storage is starting to be a conundrum on the property so we decided on a long term shipping container option. On the fun side of things we have added in some new toys to the gym. I can’t wait to see people play on these. ❤️

We have so many announcements! Not only did we finish the new yurt we think we have names for them. We will announce them soon. ❤️

Our last work day we moved so many boulders and the downside of moving giant rocks is that they leave giant craters. We found free fill dirt to fill those spaces for much safer walking paths.

We also went on a quest to upgrade our mower and have found a new replacement that will help speed up the process of our land maintenance. Henry inspected and Henry approved.

We have a new community member! Meet Toes. She is a beautiful and curious kitty that is loving exploring the property. Gwen caught an enchanting photo of her and Katie built her a kitty mansion.

We also have a new human community member that we can’t wait to announce. Stay tuned!

A story about family and community…❤️ thank you Taffy for posting this!

“My dad has bees. Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives. He took the lid off of a 5 gallon bucket full of honey and on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked him if we could help them and he said he was sure they wouldn't survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose.

I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly, after all he was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal (or bug) out of its misery. He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket. He put them in an empty Chobani yogurt container and put the plastic container outside.

Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey collection, there were bees flying all over outside.

We put the 3 little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate. My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening. These three little bees were surrounded by all of their sisters (all of the bees are females) and they were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container. She was still being tended to by her sisters.

When it was time for me to leave we checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty.
Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free.”

Bee Sisters. Bee Peers. Bee Teammates.

We could all learn a thing or two from these bees.

Had our first of hopefully many sound meditation/baths. We had a recent break in at the house and wanted to fill our home with new loving energy. This was gifted to us by someone very special in our community and it brought together friends new and old. We cannot wait to continue to host these ceremonies that bring people together in loving connection. ❤️

It’s sooooo close…

Lots of trial and error but life isn’t fun without a little adversity. The frame is complete on the 19 foot yurt.

We are are getting a pump house filtration system tomorrow but the old tank had to go. Time to cut it up!

This beautiful human faced a major foot injury days before we moved onto the property. She went two months without being able to even put weight on that foot. This is the first run in about 5 months. It’s amazing to see her health and spirit flourishing as she gets back to normal activities. ❤️
