This post means more than any other pictures of events or orders I’ve ever been a part of. Today we celebrated one of my dear best friend’s book she co-wrote about her first battle with breast cancer. I wish more than anything that she could’ve been there to sign our copies and see how proud we are of her.

Unfortunately, the cancer returned as stage IV metastatic breast cancer and she fought like hell. We lost her incredibly too soon, on September 12, leaving behind two beautiful daughters and a loving husband.

METAvivor is the only organization in the US that exclusively funds metastatic breast cancer.
While there is currently no cure for stage IV metastatic breast cancer the goal of this foundation is to “transition metastatic breast cancer from a terminal diagnosis to a chronic, manageable disease with a decent quality of life”.

Currently, 30% of all breast cancer patients will metastasize. However, only 2-5% of research funding goes to metastatic breast cancer.

Shayna made it a point in her short life to give back where she could. Her girls birthdays were spent volunteering, making donations, and and serving their community. If you’d like to donate to METAvivor, you can find the link in my bio.

I’ve always got eyes on me! 👀 I used to get nervous, especially with kiddos because they’re the ones that are going to tell you how it is! 😂 Too small? Don’t worry they’ll tell me. Too big? Don’t worry they’ll tell the other kids and they’ll ask for that same size. 🤣🤣 No matter what they’ve got to say, it’s always a treat to see the magic in their eyes! ✨

Check out this amazing picture of my cutie lil niece with a cotton candy bigger than herself! 😂💖🥰 She lives in India and her mama sent me this! I just love the fact that no matter where in the 🌎 you live, cotton candy can always put a smile on your face! ☺️

Did you know that in India they call it candy floss, but in some parts it’s also known as ‘Buddhi Ke Baal‘ (literally ‘old woman’s hair’) 👵🏼 Hehe
