BRAVE POLICEMAN SAVES PASSENGER LIVES

A brave policeman took over the steering wheel while the driver he was riding suffered a heart attack while on motion early this afternoon.
In an interview with 92.9 Brigada News Fm Cauayan City, the brave policeman identified as Police Senior Master Sgt Roland Cagal 38 assigned in Dinapigue PNP. He said, he was setting behind the driver seat of Victory Liner Bus. Upon reaching the Libag Sur area, he noticed the hands of the driver were shaking and tiny foams had begun to come out of his mouth. Thinking that the bus might hit another vehicle coming from the opposit directions, he immediately took the steers while pulling out the driver from the seat. He wanted to stop the bus but couldn't find where the hand break was located. The bus inspector instead of helping him out, ran towards the rear portion of the bus. Feared that they it might hit bystanders and other vehicles coming in the opposite direction, Sgt Gcal decided to slam the bus at the wall. When the bus had a full stop, they managed to get out after breaking the windshield. It was learned that the driver has a history of hypertension.
