In honor of Neville's birthday, here is a fun Pixie Pickup Game!

Materials Needed:
Printed and cut out pictures of Cornish Pixies.

How to Play:
Hide the pictures all over the house or whenever your party is being held. Give a time limit and challenge the guests to find as many pixies as they can. The person who finds the most wins!

Alohamora Party Game:
To make: Take a large cardboard or foam board and trace holes large enough for a paper bowl or cup. Hot glue the bowl/cup into each hole. Print and cut out pictures of each of the horcruxes from Harry Potter. Place a horcrux in the holes and fill with prizes. I put a prize in every hole, but the best prizes were in the holes that had the horcruxes. Cover each hole by gluing colorful gift wrapping paper over the opening.

To play: Tell the guests they need to find and destroy all of Voldemort's horcruxes. Have them come up one at a time. Give the guest a wand and tell them to shout "Alohamora!" to unlock a door. They then break through the gift wrap paper and get whatever the prize is inside.

Two fun ways to sort your party guests into their Hogwarts houses:
1) Fill paper hats with different colored M&Ms. Rip them open to reveal your house.
2) Put a drop of food coloring at the bottom of a cup. Let it dry. Cover it with a small layer of baking soda. Let your guests choose their cup. Pour vinegar into the cup and see what color appears.(Check the Party Activities highlights on Instagram to see it in action)
