Bethany Carter is a UK DJ & producer, whose stage name is Boudica.
Originally from rural Essex in England, her passion for music blossoms from raiding her parents 70s & 80s vinyl collection as a child.
As a teenager she found herself travelling across the country to alternative festivals and parties; energised by the ‘tribe’ like culture - the union that was created through bassy rhythmic beats and grooves. Bethany soon began to educate herself on the origins of the underground dance culture and was heavily influenced by the 90s rave scene, and the ethos and roots of house music in Chicago.
It was through these alternative sub-cultures that difference was celebrated and spiritual oneness achieved.
