Had a great day yesterday at with - my first Czech rock festival and wifey's first ever rock festival! Particularly liked and .official. Well done to the organisers, they even thought to put a cashpoint in. - and, being Czech, all the festivalgoers behaved themselves and had a good time. It was also refreshing to see so few mobile phones out at a gig, and beer and food prices that didn't break the bank. was very easygoing indeed and the Kebabs from King Kebabs were very tasty.

2 songs in, this is my Album of the Year! from the legend that is Mr Bruce Dickinson. Heavy as, yet easily listenable, with a great storyline. In 2030 will this be Album of the Decade perhaps? I'm biased of course, being as I am a Maiden Maniac, but I reckon so!

Last summer, I asked Pete Bresser of Bresser Photography (www.bresserphotos.com) to take some photos of my DJ Rig. My favourite photo is below. In the Nov/Dec 2023 issue of leading industry magazine Pro Mobile, my rig was featured in "Gear Junkies" and the Jan/Feb 2024 edition sees the annual Pro Mobile Awards. Much to my surprise, I have been nominated for "Rig of the Year"! Thank you, Pete, for spending the time to take some amazing photos, without which, I would never have been featured in www.promobile.org.uk.

Tonight I'm spending some time in the company of Drønes and Ed Force One: A Tribute to Iron Maiden at the Penny Theatre in Canterbury. Ed force one aren't on yet, currently listening to the Drones set and this band have a MASSIVE future, I'm properly enjoying their energy and their songs. So important to support local music!!!! First time seeing both bands!!!

So yesterday my postman delivered the brand new Jordan Red album, Hands That Built the World"! This is going straight in my CD player and it's going to be EPIC!

I've been a fan ever since I heard the first demo of Beautiful Monsters and I'm so awesomely chuffed that the band's hard work, faith and dogged determination has paid off. The result in this gem of an album. See you on tour somewhere next year!
