As the weather warms up, it's a reminder that beach ceremonies are a beautiful back drop for your intimate ceremony.

A few things to consider in the heat of summer...

Time of day: a sunrise ceremony can be just the vibe you are after, this is a great followed by a champagne breakfast/brunch, allowing the day to have a more relaxed approach.

Shoes: Choose a suitable shoe to your location whether it's sand or the the Rockies, you need to be able to walk comfortably and safe. Those stilettos need to wait for the after party.

Refreshments: Summer can bring hot days, consider an esky with refreshments to stay cool and hydrated, including water.

Shade: consider shade options for the time of your ceremony. Mid summer and you will be standing in the suns rays which are also very harsh for your photos.

These will ensure you enjoy the beauty of summer and a relaxed ceremony.

One question we get asked a lot is…. What should I wear for my Elopement?

Here’s a few things to consider when picking the perfect outfit…

1. Location: Are you saying ‘I do’ on a mountain top hike, outdoors or indoors?
If hiking, will you need to pack it in your backpack? Consider the surroundings & weather conditions you might encounter and make sure you'll be able work with it in your location.

2. Comfort: Heavy or restrictive fabrics may not be suited if there's a walk involved. Light fabrics certainly make things easier on an elopement. You may also have to move around awkward or muddy terrain once you're dressed so this will make your experience easier and more enjoyable.

3. Personal Style: We are here to remind you it’s your day, your way! Choose something that makes you feel fabulous, showcases your personality & is something you've always dreamed of.
