I’ve gotten asked so many times if we’re going to move somewhere new or where we want to go next. Honestly, I feel like it’s okay to not know. That’s the beautiful power we all hold to decide and create our own futures.

But for real. There’s a million reasons I could share with you why I love this region and why I’ll probably always call the La Crosse area my home. Absolutely starting with my ancestors… well over a hundred years ago.

When I walk through La Crosse downtown, I can see the house where my great grandma mothered my grandpa Richard, as a single mother. I can see the buildings, where she grew and entrepreneured her businesses without the help of a man. I can see our building where the Netwals have worked in Dentistry for my whole life + more. I can see the old Danny’s music store where my grandparents met, while listening to records. I can see the empty lot that used to be the old hallmark store, where my dad worked as a teen. I can see the Cathedral that my grandpa and his dad helped restructure years and years ago. I can see the pump house that my ancestors used to work. I can see the old train car my uncle brought in 1963. I can see the park, where Stephen and I were engaged. I could go on forever 🥺

La Crosse feels like I’m walking through a scrapbook my my life and ancestry. Annnnnd I’m a pretty sappy & emotional person so I’m a sucker for all of this.

I always admire how Savannah creates flatlays. Starting with some beautiful paper invites by and floral by she pieces together something beautiful enough it should be glued into a shadow box and placed on the wall. 🤌✨ hmmm that’s actually a good idea. Has anyone displayed their invite suite from their wedding in their house? Our invite is just taped onto the fridge 🤪

So what do we think about incorporating black and white shots into films? I always go back and forth on whether or not I like it- so I just decided to try a small clip to test it out. Thoughts?

Krizzia and Tim's Wedding Day at Celebrations on the River was packed full of real, emotional moments and heartfelt vows.

Because many of Krizzia's family was not able to make it to their wedding from the Philippines, we all decided that their film needed to be a little different than past films. Our goal was for Krizzia's family to see and hear as much of the day as they possibly could, even though they were over 8,000 miles away. So, to do this, their film is majorly focussed on their ceremony and vows to carry the story.

Again and again, we all laughed and chuckled at the thought that Tim "agreed" to marry Krizzia on a Sunday, durring the football season. Everyone who knows Tim, knows that he is a dedicated football fan, especially to his team, the Minnesota Vikings. Even seeing that passion for football- there's no comparison to the love and support that Tim shows for Krizzia.

While still creating a slow, romantic feel to the film, it's filled to the brim with loving words and sweet moments.

The past few months have been full of hard work, non-stop editing and improving my skills and style. Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me, as my films have been taking longer to produce.

With each film I focus on how I can best piece together the most meaningful moments and words. It means the world to me that each couple has a film that speaks directly to them and that makes them feel loved and cherished.

Even with growth that I experienced this year in my business I struggled with trying to make each film perfect. My brain would wreck havoc on how to curate a moment or how I should have curated it… but now I realize that the best moments in my films are where I just allowed the real, raw moments to breathe.

This year I’m focusing even more on learning from my brides and grooms on who they are and what’s important to them, rather than what’s trendy.

With every single wedding, that I’ve been hired to film- I feel so insanely honored. Honored that you trust me with your precious moments and sharing with me your heart and your family for the day. Thank you 🤎🥰

4th Pic is what I look like rn- so 💁🏻‍♀️ Also, that last pic is an appreciation pic for how cute this little lash is. I got it for $0.62 (yay rewards points🥳) at Ulta and it took like 45 minutes to get it to stay on- but it worked for the pictures. 🤠💀👍
