On the occasion of Padmavibhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji's 76th Birthday, a special program was organized at JSS Central School, Dharwad where over 2500 students wore a handmade mask depicting him and creating a record.
Shri Vinod Doddanavar, Secretary of Bharatesh Education Trust was honored to be the Chief Guest for this special function.

World Spine Day was observed at Bhartesh Education Trust on Monday 16th October 2023. Dr Suhas Godbole, renowned doctor from Mumbai, demonstrated simple office exercises to take care of our spine on a daily basis that help in preventing problems of shoulder , neck and the spine. Several faculty members and students were present at this occasion. Shri Vinod Doddanavar, Secretary of Bhartesh Education Trust welcomed the guest and said that in today's lifestyle it is important to take care of our body, especially the spine , to prevent back problems. He also encouraged the students to exercise regularly.

Justice Narendra Kumar Jain, Chairman, National Commssion for Minority Educational Institutions visited Belagavi on Saturday 12th August 2023. He met with representatives of various religious and linguistic minority educational institutions in the city. He was joined by Adv. Dhanyakumar Gunde- Member of National Commission for Minorities, New Delhi.
The interactive program was organized at Bharatesh Education Trust (BET), near Fort. In his detailed speech, Justice Jain addressed the various issues pertaining to Minority educational institutions including difficulties faced in getting minority status, lack of grant in aid, scholarships, provisions in National Education Policy and more. He also touched upon several aspects of the way forward for minorities. Justice Jain was felicitated by Shri Shripal Khemalapure- Vice Chairman of BET, Shri Vinod Doddanavar- Secretary of BET and Shri Sanjay Patil- Belagavi district BJP President. Representatives from several minority educational institutions in the district run by the Jains, Muslims, Christians and Sikhs were present on the occasion in large numbers. They put forward their issues and presented their memorandum. Shri Vinod Doddanavar spoke about the issues of getting minority status especially for micro minorities and quoted appropriate statistics.
Members of the Managing Committee of Bharatesh Education Trust, members of management of several other institutions from all over the district were also present.

Shri Rajiv Doddanavar loved trees and adored nature in all its glory. Throughout his lifetime, he planted and nurtured thousands of trees at his mines, farms and home. Coincidentally, his birthday fell on World Environment Day- 5th June. It was apt to celebrate his 68th birthday today by planting 68 trees at our three campuses in his memory. These trees were carefully chosen to suit the terrain of the three campuses at Belagavi city, Halaga and Kudachi. Warm functions to remember the visionary leader, Shri Rajiv Doddanavar , were also organised at all Bharatesh institutions today.
Members of the Management, Heads of Institutions, staff and students joined in this special drive in large numbers.

*Statue of Komalanna Doddanavar unvelied at Bharatesh campus- Halaga*
Belagavi: As part of its Diamond Jubilee, Bharatesh Education Trust (BET) unveiled a statue of one of its founders and a stalwart, Shri Komalanna Doddanavar at its Vindhyagiri Campus, opposite Suvarn Vidhan Soudha, Halaga on Saturday 18th March 2023. Under Komalanna’s leadership as Chairman of BET for over 44 years, the Trust grew from just one school operating from a rented premises to 19 institutions over 3 campuses and thousands of students studying at various courses from KG to PG. The statue is a mark of gratitude for his contributions.
Dr. Anil Patil, Chairman of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha founded by Shikshan Maharshi Karmveer Dr. Bhaurao Patil, Satara was the chief guest. Prakash Hukkeri, former Karnataka minister and MLC- Northwest Teachers’ Constituency and Abhay Patil, MLA Belagavi South were the esteemed guests for this function. Dr. Anil Patil reminisced the similarities between the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha and BET wherein both the organizations were started with the same objective of providing quality education to all. He also emphasized the need to stay relevant to the times and equip students with skills that will help them in the future. Prakash Hukkeri reminisced his warm relations with Komalanna and promised to help in every possible way for the development of the Trust’s institutions in his tenure as MLC. Abhay Patil lauded the work being done by Bharatesh for the betterment of student community.
‘Bharatesh Belaku’ a special book on the journey of BET over the past 60 years, written by A. A. Sanadi was also released at this occasion.
Secretary Shripal Khemalapure welcomed the guests. Vinod Doddanavar briefed about the life and times of Komalanna. Treasurer Bhushan Mirji proposed the vote of thanks. Swatee Jog and S. N. Akki hosted the event. Staff, students, members of the Managing Committee of BET, General Body members, well wishers were present in large numbers.

Bhartesh Education Trust, on the occasion of its Diamond Jubilee cecelebrations, has organised the Akhil Karnataka Jain Kannada Sahitya Sammelan on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January 2023. The Sammelan is graced by luminaries from the field of Kannada literature including Dr. Hampa Nagarajaiah, Dr Shantinath Dibbad, Dr. Sidhu Alagur, Prof. Padma prasad , Smt Mangala Metgud and many others. The two day Sahitya Sammelan at Bharatesh Vindhyagiri campus, Halaga, will see an array of littrateurs expounding the rich heritage of Jain Kannada Sahitya. The event began with traditional welcome and hoisting of National flag, Dharmadhwaja and Naaddhwaja. Param Poojya Swastishri Lakshmisen Bhattarak Pattacharya Swamiji of Digambar Jain Matha Kolhapur blessed the event with his auspicious presence.
Along with the dignitaries, Dr. Jinadatta Desai, noted poet and chairman of Bharatesh Education Trust , with Vice chairman Rajiv Doddanavar, managing committee members Vinod Doddanavar and Vasant Kodachwad, inaugurated the Grand event. Shri Gopal Jinagouda, members of several literature forums and literature enthusiasts were present.

The nineteen episode of the Distinguished lecture series, to mark the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of Bharatesh Education Trust was graced by Dr Govind Misale,Vice President, Shree Renuka Sugars.Speaking to UG & PG students of Business Administration, Dr Misale shared valuable information about the Sugar Industry.He said Sugarcane is the most attractive crop & spoke about how FRP( Minimum prices that Sugar mills have to pay Sugarcane farmers)of sugarcane is more than doubled in the last 12 yrs.
He also talked about the diversification of Sugar from Ethanol, Generation of Bio Ethanol & concluded by saying "Ethanol is a promising Agri Business."

Bharatesh Run was organized on Sunday 7th January from the Trust’s fort campus as part of its year long events commemorating its Diamond Jubilee.
A total of 1355 enthusiasts participated in the run in the Open (10 Kms) Men and Women, Under 16 (5 kms) for Boys and Girls and Fun Run (3 kms) for boys and girls. Ankush Laxman and Sarika Nalanade were the respective winners for the men and women 10 kms open, Ram Madane and Akshara Majukar respectively won the 5 kms boys and girls run and Jotiba Patil and Ritvika More won the Fun run for boys and girls category respectively. Noted Ironman Rohan Hargude flagged off the event early Sunday Morning. Vice Chairman of BET Shri Rajeev Doddanavar, Secretary Shri Shripal Khemalapure, Treasurer Shri Bhushan Mirji, Managing Committee members Shri Vinod Doddanavar, Shri Devendra Desai, Shri Sharad Patil, Shri Hirachand Kalmani were present for the flagging off. Shri Gopal Jinagouda, MD, Jinabakul Forge was the chief guest for the award ceremony. A large number of students, enthusiastic runners, staff and general public participated in the Run.

Bharatesh Education Trust paid tributes to its stalwart , Shri Komalanna Doddanavar on his 99th Birth Anniversary on 5th Jan 2023 which is celebrated as a 'Founders' Day' in his remembrance. Secretary Shri Shripal Khemalapure reminisced about the many facets of the visionary Shri Komalanna. Dr. A. R. Rotti, Dr. Shrikant Konkani, Shri Mahendra Hanji also shared their memories. Shri Vinod Doddanavar spelled out the dynamism of Shri Komalanna which resulted in a massive growth in Bharatesh during his illustrious tenure of 44 years as Chairman of Bharatesh and urged everyone to follow in his footsteps towards a brighter future. Joint Secretary Shri Prakash Upadhye, Managing Committee members Shri Ashok Danawade, Shri Devendra Desai, Dr. Savitri Doddanavar, Shri Rajendra Ramgounda, all heads of Bharatesh Institutions and staff paid floral tributes.

Foundation Stone Laying ceremony of two classrooms at Halaga
Bharatesh Education Trust (BET) conducted the foundation stone laying ceremony of two classrooms at its Smt. J. R. Doddanavar High School in Halaga on 4th Jan 2023. The classrooms have been sanctioned from special funds by Hon. Shri Abhay Ji Patil, MLA, Belagavi (South) who also graced the occasion. Shri Patil lauded the efforts of Late Shri Komalanna Doddanavar whose vision it was to provide quality education to all at affordable fees. Shri Shripal Khemalapur, Secretary – BET, Managing Committee members Shri Vinod Doddanavar, Dr. Savitri Doddanavar, Shri Devendra Desai, GC Member Shri Bahubali Kademani, heads of Bharatesh Institutions and staff were present.

He said these sciences originated in India from ancient times & how Doctors today are adopting these sciences in treating patients to achieve 100%results.
The power of third eye activation was demonstrated by his 13 year old daughter.
