We are the presenting sponsor South Carolina Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame For One Voice Show Black & Blue —>>>

Shared from OneVoiceShow.com

I am excited to announce that I am putting on a SPECIAL, VIRTUAL production of 'One Voice" on Juneteenth!

“One Voice: BLACK & BLUE” is an exceptional narrative highlighting orations from one of America’s most influential black leaders Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King will be embodied by Jeremiah Dew during this virtual experience, and video vignettes of local South Carolinians who lived through the Civil Rights Movement in the deep South will tell us their own stories in their own words.

This special one-time presentation of JDew’s one man show, will be streamed on Juneteenth (June 19th, 2020) via YouTube Live, at 7pm EST.

Juneteenth is the holiday that celebrates the ending of slavery in the US. Soldiers from the US Army freed enslaved Africans and their descendents after reading them the Emancipation Proclamation, several months after the Confederate Army surrendered.

This production of “One Voice: BLACK & BLUE” presented by The South Carolina Entertainment and Music Hall of Fame, will be a great way to come together as a hurting nation and reflect on the discrimination, segregation, and triumph of the Black American over the following 150+ years since that reading.

JDew will conclude his production with a one-on-one interview “Problems, Protests, and Police” with Sheriff Hobart Lewis of Greenville County, SC. This exclusive experience will be a time to ask Sheriff Lewis how he feels about the current events in our country and his city, and listen as he answers questions from locals.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect on the African-American experience and look forward to an inclusive future where BLACK LIVES TRULY MATTER.

Because of some incredible sponsors, I am offering this show at no cost to you! Donations are welcome but not required. But you must sign up to get the special link for streaming!
