When my oldest grandchild had her first birthday party I offered to make her birthday cake. 16 years and 7 grandchildren later, the tradition continues. Although I must admit, my first “naked” cake for this Bambi Party was much easier than some of the the LEGO, Minecraft, Pineapple, Castle, etc cakes that have been requested.

We had the pleasure of creating a celebration for a dear friend tonight. A dedicated coach and educator retiring after 43 years and celebrating a milestone birthday. Our favorite parties are personal and this one featured so many personal things belonging to the guest of honor.
