When cancer treatment begins, everything can change. Not only one’s perspective, but everything in day-to-day life – and meals are no exception. The types of food eaten, even how food tastes, may be different. In spite of these changes, mealtime brings much-needed consistency to lives that have been turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Pampered Chef has been in partnership with the American Cancer Society© for 22 years, and raised more than $13 million. During this fundraiser party, I have chosen the American Cancer Society’s Help Whip Cancer© charity, in hopes of helping all those affected by this terrible disease. It has affected so many – too many – of my family and friends, and I’m sure it has affected too many of your family and friends, as well.

I am asking you all to help me raise funds for research and support of people affected by cancer. During the month of May, and during this fundraiser party, Pampered Chef is DOUBLING its donations to this charity, and any other charity you choose.

But we need your help! We cannot raise these funds, unless you participate by purchasing our products and booking parties from this one! In order for me to qualify for donations from Pampered Chef, I need my party sales to reach a minimum of $200, and I’m still short of that goal! Additionally, for every party you book from my party, Pampered Chef will donate $3 to my charity.

Please! Help out my charity, in honor and memory of those who are now suffering, whose who have suffered and won, and those who have lost their battle to this disease!!

My party ends tomorrow, Saturday, May 21st, and I am hoping you can help me not only reach my goal, but surpass it, and book parties for that extra $3 per party!

Pampered Chef Tip of the Week:

Buy chicken in bulk and freeze it. Place chicken breasts in freezer bags and let out as much air as possible before closing.

Freeze individual portions, so it’s easier to defrost what you need. Date your bags and keep the chicken frozen up to 9 months.

Pampered Chef Tip of the Week:

When making crepes, lift the pan from the heat and tilt your wrist so that the batter pours to one side, then swirl it around so it coats the bottom of the pan evenly. Get creative with your fillings and toppings or just serve as is for a simple, quick breakfast!
