Took a little trip today to Spicer Orchards Farm Market for my birthday! It was a beautiful day with my family, picking blueberries and sunflowers and enjoying warm cinnamon donuts, cider and kettle corn! It was the absolute perfect day! I hope you all are enjoying the end of your summer! Are y’all ready for fall or do you want to hold onto summer a little longer? ❤️🌻

One of our build-your-own bouquet options is a choice of 3-4 stems for your guests to choose. That typically is a foliage &/or a textural, a focal flower, and a supporting flower. So in all the excitement yesterday, Floret Flower Farm who is featured on Magnolia Network acknowledged me on a post I had commented on 4 days prior. Little did she know that yesterday was my launch day of Ruby Rae’s Flower Bar!! I may have screamed in my bed when I saw this and what a sweet addition to end the day!! I fell in love with her show, Growing Floret, and her story was a huge inspiration to me to make the first step with Ruby Rae’s after years of dreaming and planning! If you all haven’t had the chance to check out her show or many of the others (The Lost Kitchen, Artisan Bryan, to name a few) DO IT!! You won’t be sorry! If you have had the chance to watch some of the Magnolia Network shows, which is your favorite and why?

WHY RUBY RAE’S?

First, let me introduce myself. I’m Hannah (the girl in pink), wife to an amazing husband, momma to three awesome kids, lover of flowers, food, my family, and people. Most of the time you can find me with a coffee in my hand. To the left of me, is the inspiration behind Ruby Rae’s, my mom, Roxanne “Ruby” Rae. From a young age, I can remember going to Eastern Market in Detroit or local nurseries in late May to pick our annual flowers to plant. I can still see my mom on her knees planting and tending to the flowers, smell the dirt on my hands and the feel of excitement as I tried to catch the toads that jumped out from under the dirt. I loved to watch and help her.

Fast forward to a few years ago when we were living in Oklahoma at the time and I attended a Mother’s Day event at a church. I was able to chose my own bouquet of flowers. It’s hard to explain the happiness such a small gesture brought me and after years of developing this dream, as well as spending time planning and decorating events, I am excited about this beautiful opportunity that reaches far beyond a flower and touches the soul. At my core, I have a passion for helping people, and Ruby Rae’s is all about that. It’s about using some of the most lovely elements of God’s creation to make events more memorable, memories more beautiful, and brightening lives one flower at a time!

Hello World!! I am excited to officially announce, what some already know, that I have started a little flower bar business, Ruby Rae’s Flower Bar! It’s a build-your-own bouquet bar that makes an awesome addition to your next event. We just did a bridal shower last weekend and it was a hit! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram !
