Happy National Rescue Dog Day! 🐕
Did you know according to the ASPCA, approximately 3.3-million dogs enter shelters every year? Also, did you know that 1.5 million of those are euthanized due to overpopulation? 😭
I am reading this beautiful book about shelter dogs gifted to my mommy by 's Mommy for . All the stories and pictures made us cry. They have happy endings so that's a good thing!😍
Often, people say they don't want to rescue because they NEED a pure-bred. Well, guess what? This book had stories of so many pure-breds at the shelter. So instead of buying from a pet store or a backyard breeder, why not ADOPT!? Please go to a shelter or rescue to find your next furry companion.

Back story -> in that box, five other puppies plus myself were left out on the feeder in southwest Houston. Mom was at work when she saw the 'anyone want a puppy' message. She said yes to me specifically and I was hers that night.

Celebrating National Dog Rescue day! Looking back at the before and after pictures ALWAYS makes me so emotional. From being picked up off of the streets of downtown Houston thanks to , to being the princess that runs the household. I’m not gonna lie... I thought she was going to be a yappy girl and ankle biter 😆, but she is the sweetest pup and is the type to allow 7 children on her at the same time, and just go belly up. Lol. I’m thankful for rescues and the continued work of finding homes for all the fur babies, big and small. ❤️🥰🤗

I always wonder if the people who dumped Baloo at a shelter still think about him. I always wonder what would’ve happened differently had they had the patience to work with him through his issues. I wonder if they see him on social media and regret their decision. Rescue dogs are not broken. Rescue dogs are not trouble. Rescue dogs can become therapy dogs, working dogs, service dogs, emotional support animals, and incredible companions through the most difficult days. It is more than possible to find an intelligent, friendly, healthy, and beautiful dog for under $100 at your local shelter or rescue. Thousands and thousands of homeless dogs are piled into shelters each day, waiting to find their person. Pure bred dogs, puppies, working breeds— all can be found at a shelter or rescue. All of our rescues are living proof that it is possible to find gorgeous dogs who desperately need love just down the street at your local pound. Rescue a dog. Save a life. And gain an incredible, life-long best friend along the way. ❤️

idk what else to do I've been driving around for hours looking for him. Hes missing in the Teal Run subdivision in Fresno. The wind blew our back fencing and Duke and My aussie got out. An hour later I found my aussie and spotted Duke from far away so I got in my truck and when I went to where I saw him on Teal Run Rd he was gone. I've gone thru all the subdivisions 3 times and noone has seen. I've posted on our local nextdoor app. So if anyone is in the area keep an eye out for him . FRESNO TEXAS

It’s and we want to give a special shoutout to our fave DJ, DJ NANDO 1. Nando has been with us from our very first festival last year, and we love what he brings to every and event. If you see him out and about, give him a big hug. But be careful because he knows how to box. Well, maybe you should just keep it to a high five. 😂🤣
